Excuse the name/pic this is the wife’s review:Came in from oot and bought this cake for my Birthday. Best cake I’ve had in years! I got the Vanilla with Strawberry filling, and strawberries around the top, and oh my goodness.. so fresh, moist and just so good! I ordered the 10” cake and it was huge!! For the price it’s worth every penny. The buttercream is perfect, not too sweet but just right. I will definitely be ordering again on my next visit. Thank you for the experience!

Who doesn't love donuts? With so many donut shops in CLT, Suárez stands out with its Donut CAKE! The icing is tremendously sweet and donut is super fluffy. The employees are very accommodating to build this with short notice and at a good price. Their shops are more than just donuts, so if you're near Park Rd Shopping Center or Optimist Hall, I recommend going to their shop and seeing what else they have to offer behind the glass of goodies! Also shoutout to their extremely fudgy Salted Caramel Brownie mmmm.

Service leaves much to be desired. I shopped there for almost 10 years - recently, they've refused to bag my order after they give it to me. For example, today, they just left my red velvet cupcakes on the counter, no bag, for me to pick up. Come for the sweets, stay for the discrimination.

I love this place. It's conveniently located to my other frequent stops, Harris teeter, my yoga studio, etc., so I stop for an occasional treat. Their tres leches cake is so good. Sometimes they make treats for dogs when they have time and my pup loves them. They always have fun seasonal options also.

Tasty, affordable Cuban-style bakery conveniently located in Park Rd Shopping Center! We got the guava pastelito, apple fritter, and donut holes. Right now, there's a Yelp check-in offer for a free pastry (up to $5 value), so our pastelito ended up being free! Service was speedy, patient, and friendly. Note: this location is different from the Optimist Hall one, which also serves coffee and sandwiches. This is JUST a bakery. (TBH, I wouldn't mind the cafe offerings here too though! Love a Cuban cafecito.) Of what we got, I really enjoyed the guava pastelito since it was perfectly flaky and had an apricot glaze, adding a little something extra to this pastry that scream Miami to me. I also thought the apple fritter was nice since it had little chunks of apple in it. This was especially delish after we got home and heated it up. The donut holes were just ok to me, so I wouldn't be coming back here just for those, but it's nice to have the option to get something small and sweet if the craving hits. I'd love to return and try more baked goods! The cakes look divine, and looks like they also have seasonal offerings.

Horrible customer service experience! This was my 5th order of cake with them and I have had no issues with preorder placement and payment. This time when the lady called me, i had poor phone connection and couldn’t pay over phone. Instead of giving me a reminder call, when I called to pay they said they have no availability now. I never even got a cancellation email. When they allow only preorder cake order then why can’t they give a link for payment ? Who does business this ways ? The man who took my call was equally unhelpful basically straight up saying that they can’t do anything and i should have read the fine print ! This led me to scramble and try to find another cake 6 days before the party when my kid selected his cake and stripes color etc with so much excitement. I am very disappointed with the way they spoke over phone to me and handled the situation. If a customer is going to go through the designs and put in time to fill out the entire form then at least have the decency to follow up and update them. You cannot assume that people read all the text, if you want a good experience, give options to people and hire good and kind people to deal with customers. You can have good chefs but if the service staff is rude then that’s no excuse. The design options that they offer are not even that complicated. They have surely lost my business. Don’t waste time at their place, goto Amelie’s or Vallanis for amazing desserts and maybe to local publix for custom cakes. Will save a lot of headache.

OMG I was at the one in Optimus Hall, North Carolina. I can’t believe how awesome, delicious, “sabroso” the chocolate mousse cake was‼️That cake just melted in my mouth. We also tried the coconut cake which was delicious, the morning bun yummy, but that chocolate mousse cake I just cannot tell you how wonderful it was‼️‼️ The food looked terrific and smelt great…. For context I am not a big cake person so it’s hard to impress me with cake in the base case, but I ordered a chocolate mousse cake for my husband’s birthday and it is PHENOMENAL. Their chocolate buttercream is hands down the best frosting I’ve ever eaten. Everything was made on time and exactly as ordered. I would absolutely order again and recommend to others.
