My husband brought a sandwich home to me from here several weeks ago. Although the pictures do the sandwich no justice; every bite was flavorful and overall just really good. Surprisingly this sub shop has been around forever and I had no idea. So from the pics posted, these are not the pics from when my husband brought me the sandwich, but it was so good I was craving another. Needless to say, the pics are from my THIRD trip there . I always get the chicken breast sandwich, which comes with chicken/cheese/lettuce/tomato/mayo and any additions you would like. I will say the door to the location swings open quite frequently as I found it's a community staple and people come from all over for their delicious subs. The staff were quite pleasant and very welcoming. They seemed to have a great connections with their patrons as so witnessed many of them walk in and the staff would say "you want your usual", implying they have frequent fliers. . Now, I only gave a 4 star because although the subs are great, facility is dated and needs some love and care.

People who aren't leaving five stars here are garbage. Family joint laying low in the last true cut of uptown. Could get expensive depending on what you want, and what you want is the Jersey cheese steak with double meat. Basically two sandwiches. Bread here is top tier, and when you get that first chomp in, you can tell this guy has been doing it longer than you've been alive. It might take a sec if the ol' dude is bangin 'em out solo that day, but hey, you tryna sweat sauce and sprinkles in traffic going back over the bridge or nah? Well worth it friends.

Surprisingly, this is only my second time getting food from here in the 16 years I have been working 'just up the street', but in my defense I didn't know this place existed until late last year. The gentleman that answered the phone didn't bat an eyelid and just rolled up his sleeves when I told him I was calling to place an order for 14 hoagies for myself and some co-workers. I was given a pick-up time, and the subs were ready on time. For less than $10 a person, 13 of my co-workers and I got exactly what we ordered, each hoagie labeled with our names, and everyone said their hoagies were delicious! This is now a favorite lunch spot of mine and hopefully a few of my co-workers as well. Note: I had DEVOURED the first half of my hoagie before remembering to take a picture!Parking: The parking lot is small, and I believe is only for patrons of the stores that line one side of the lot. It was almost full when got there, but I found a spot easily.

I ordered An Italian hot sub with lettuce, tomato, onion and mayonnaise. I have to say that it was a wonderful sub. I didn't expect it from what it looks like outside of the shop. Glad I went on Yelp and read reviews. With so many great reviews I was convinced it was a good place and I wasn't disappointed.

I have never eaten at Sub One that's on me!! what was I thinking!! Was welcomed with smiles - told the very awesome purty lady that I had not been there before. asked for the Philly cheesesteak, chip, and pickle(a whole one) she asked I wanted the special sauce - oh of course I do!! She laughed And my order was up so fast I couldn't even look around long enough to see all people gobbling up their food. Now I have to go back and try something else amazing - you people in uptown should make this place your go to spot.

New to the area and saw this place was close to me so I thought I'd give it a try with the great reviews. I got the Chicken Parm and it was fantastic. Quality over Quantity with a great price of about $8.50. The sub roll was the best I've ever had and the chicken parm inside was amazing. I'll be coming back without a doubt and look forward to trying the other sandwiches. 10/10 experience, if you live in the area or are just coming to visit, you need to check this place out!
