I have tried my best to support this place. But after this morning, I have lost all my respect for them. This team has zero sense of urgency for the everyday person who may be trying to get to destinations in the morning. I came in approximately 7:09 and left at 7:40 for four blueberry muffins. I was told once they just came out the oven but they did not, I asked on the status of my blueberry muffins. I was being told they were now just coming out the oven. I suggest going anywhere but this location is too early to be this frustrated on a beautiful Friday morning

The coffee is great, the breakfast selection is fantastic, and the homemade pastries are delicious. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a cozy and delicious start to their day!

Found this spot because it was close to my hotel and I’m so glad I did. I’ll definitely make this a regular visit location. Bravo to the spot! I love the play on the name Sunflour: indicating everything is baked in house. The fact that they had lots of Vegan options for me and even more options for my family was amazing. I of course got the Lavender 5 shots Latte with Oat Milk and it was probably one of the best cups I’ve ever had. You could actually smell the lavender. The foam was perfect and the cup was just delightful delicious. I also bought 4 cupcakes ( 2 red velvet, 1 lemon & 1 pistachio) they didn’t even make it home the kids ate them up. I was told they were finger licking good. I also purchased 2 vegan scones, 1 cheddar & chive biscuits & 1 cinnamon roll. I think I paid $40 for 8 bakery items & 2 lattes. So the price was great ? this spot is a must if you love fresh food made with love and good ingredients.Vegetarian options: Had more than just 1 option for Vegan/Vegetarian.

I used Sunflour for my wedding cake. They absoltuely blew me away. The cake was delicious and moist, not too sweet. The cake looked exactly how I requested, it was totally flawless. The price was super fair and quality of product high. I would use them again. Thank you guys!!!

Have tried this place multiple times, all of which were less than expected. Ordered a hot coffee and it was the worst thing I had ever tasted in my entire life. I'm a coffee snob, I'll admit, but this was the worst coffee I've ever had, worse than Dunkin or Starbucks. Their pastries are subpar for the price. Three times and all of them being unimpressive, will not return and do not recommend.

Hands down the best bakery in the town. We visit here every weekend from south carolina to have breakfast. Chocolate banana muffin and orange hazelnut rolls are our family favorites. Staff is extremely polite and thoughtful. They make great coffee too.

This place was nice! The food and service were solid, I got a cappuccino and a croissant sandwich and both were good, especially as I could sub in gruyere cheese. Would have been nice if it came with a little side dish (I guess I could have paid extra but it would have been a nice touch, my large tray was looking a bit bare). Also there was no wifi even though the details were listed on a sign, so I couldn't stay and try their lunch offerings while I worked there.

This is the second time in as many months that I have experience poor customer service at this particular location. This time around there was a German Shepherd with its owner Inside the store by the cash register, Without any outward visible sign that identified it as a service dog. The dog bark at me whereupon, I inquired as to why a dog (German Shepherd) is inside their eatery with tons of exposed delicious baked goods (Shepherds have fur not hair so they shed) & dandruff may be floating within the Sunflower establishment, possibly contaminating the exposed baked products? The young lady behind the counter didn't appreciate my questions or statements. She stated it's was too early for her and she didn't have time for this. She then informed me had the manager been there, I would've been asked to leave. So, it appears that if you are at Sunflower, if you are Black and a dog barks at you inside their establishment, don't ask questions or bring to their attention what is wrong with this picture because you will be the one asked to leave, not the dog. Lately, my experience at sunflower has been one as the proverbial invisible Black customer (you know, when you are physically, there but to them you are not) and this time I was seen but not heard. Who said the old South was dead, not in Sunflower bakery in Ballantyne, not if you are Black. Just for transparency regarding the first incident, I did return to the store and spoke to the manager about the that negative experience. This time I'm just writing the review and let you decide. Good food, poor customer service.
