I ordered a few things. Greek salad, cheeseburger and their pork chop dinner. Salad was good but the burger and pork chops were nasty. The burger was flavorless and reminded me of the school cafeteria food. Service was slow. Pork chops were fatty and seasoned deficit. It looks dirty in there. Needs fresh coat of paint cleaner floors and a dining room renovation. Needless to say, I will not ever be returning.

The fish and shrimp plate is so good. I got it with onion rings and potato salad.Delicious.I went back yesterday 3/23/24 and opted for the grilled chicken chef salad. But so many ppl in line ordered the Hamburger steak with gravy and onions, that's what I'm gonna get next time.The carrot cake is delicious as well.This is a cozy family owned charlotte institution that serves good old home cooking!!!!

The owner/cook Gus is great! Food is always on point! Never disappoints. I order a ton of things on the menu. It's a family owned restaurant. Wife and kids also work there. Sweet as can be. Every dish is delicious...chicken tips over rice, hamburger steak onion rings okra, oh the parlsey potatoes mmm mmm, Greek dressing amazing, pintos even the green beans are yummy! Cheeseburgers yum Can't go wrong here.

The fried chicken was made to order (took 20 minures, but they let us know that before we ordered) Got the fried flounder was so good, got it peppered and salted, very very very good! You get 2 sides and bread with the dinners. The potatoes were buttery goodness. It's a bit far out but wellw worthit. The atmosphere is diner like, not fancy. Greatest diamond in the rough.
