Had a taste for Tom Yum soup. Was excited and ordered a large vegetarian tom yum. Uh this is not Thai soup by any means. Not a single thai flavor of lemongrass, cilantro, ginger etc. its more like a super thin minestrone soup without the pasta.Extremely disappointed.

This is for DOOR DASH. The in person dining experience reviews are all fantastic, not sure why the delivery was so bad. Details:We ordered the ka nem jeb (dumplings), Thai salad, and pud Thai. The portion sizes were good, but all the food was so surprisingly bland and colorless. The tofu salad had iceberg lettuce in it (no leafy greens), and the tofu was one large wedge, not even crispy, well cooked,or well seasoned. The dumplings were bland. The pud Thai was a great size portion, but again, super bland with not much in it besides the noodles and the protein (chicken). Won't order delivery from here again, given how bland bland the food was, very disappointed as this place is very close to where I live.

Average Thai food restaurant with good service and a decent atmosphere. If you are local it's a good choice. Parking is tight but available.

This evening I decided to eat at my favorite Thai restaurant. . .I really wish that I hadn't. My Shrimp Pad Thai had an unusual taste. The Thai Shrimp Fried Rice was extremely salty without adding any soy sauce to it. The only dish that was it's usual flavor was the Red Curry with shrimp. Not sure if they had a new cook or a bad day in the kitchen. Regardless of the reason, I won't be going back. One last thing, they charged $2 for my request of "no ice" in the Thai Iced Tea. No notice was given. It just showed up on the receipt with the "no Ice" descrjption. That's a first and last for me at Thai Taste!!

Went during lunch and overall it was good. Not write home amazing, not fantastic, but simply a good small generic restaurant.service: Seated quickly, service was quick, very few words from the women who took my order and not even a smile. The guy who seated me seemed friendly and the women who took my payment was also friendly.food: I had the pad thai seafood combination and unlike most places they did a great job on the sauce. The shrimp and calamari clearly tasted frozen, and the calamari in particular was overcooked by a lot (so stick with the chicken, pork, or beef). The spring roll was a disappointment as it just had a bit of cabbage in it and nothing else with plenty of room, this meant that when it was fried oil could seep and and hold in. The soup was ok, mild flavoring, tasted like a chicken broth, and had a few small veggies in it with rice. Honestly, would just be better to cut those two items from the menu overall or as part of the special, better to serve 1 great thing then get it downplayed by something mediocre.Atmosphere: the place is small but nice. I was able to easily get to my seat, but if you are a larger person or need a walker or wheelchair this may not be a good option. The place itself hard bright but fading colors, and clearly the place is aging, but holding well overall.

Went for lunch on a Monday. Tables are too crowded for such a small space. Definitely couldn't seat a wheelchair comfortably. When seated, I was only given a lunch menu to order from. There was nothing on it I cared to eat, but I ended up getting the Pad Thai after the waitress rushed me to order. It tasted strange and my shrimp were cool in the center. Spring roll was nothing but cabbage. I waited forever for the check just to finally be told I could go to the register and just give them the number on the side of my table. I was in the bathroom most of the night. Wasted $30 and most likely got food poisoning. I will not be back to this location.

I have been trying to find a good Thai place in Charlotte but have yet to find one. In my opinion the menu was way over priced. There was a decent amount of chicken in the dish but not nearly enough sauce. The noodles were very dry.

Ate at Thai Taste yesterday after visiting Paper Skyscraper. The restaurant staff is very welcoming and polite. I chose red curry with shrimp and it was very good. I loved seeing Pathein Htees (paper umbrellas) on the ceiling, that's very authentic.

The food was ok. But the service was poor. It took almost 45 mins+ to server our order. Which ruined the mood . Tom yum soup took 30 min to be served and the entree was served after almost 40 to 50 mins of wait.
