We went to celebrate my husband's birthday. The service at the bar before our reservation was impeccable. The food and atmosphere was good. Our waiter had no sense of humor and messed up two of our four orders. Then the food wasn't cooked to the right temperature. So we had to send two of our plates back. It was good and I would go back but probably just eat at the bar.

Well, if you want an overpriced, bland, dry steak, and equally bland & odd tasting sides, then look no further…. Capital Grille is for you!Went there for Easter brunch today and though the service was good, we were all extremely disappointed in the food.What a waste of $350+ for 4 people. There was a time, back in the day, where I would highly recommend this restaurant. Not anymore!! Go anywhere else!!

An EGGcellent Easter Brunch with the one and only David Chase as our server! The mozzarella and prosciutto appetizer was absolutely outstanding, we could not believe that we had not tried it before. The brunch filet was cooked to the perfect temperature and the white cheddar hash browns were the perfect side. David made sure our drinks were always full and paced out our meal so we had a full experience that did not feel rushed. Thank you capital grille and David for an outstanding holiday meal!
One of, if not the best, steakhouse in uptown Charlotte. Great atmosphere and exceptional service. Great bar, but the food is where the Capitol Grille shines. This is a must try!

The steak that was suggested, the one with balsamic 15 years old, the meat was very good, but the balsamic was so overpowering that I could hardly taste the steak. Service was good as expected for price tag this high. atmosphere was good. Service were also very good but again for price tag this high that’s what I expect.
