We had a great experience for an anniversary dinner. Greeted by our names, drinks were fabulous, our waiter was attentive but didn't bother us too much, and the everything we ordered to eat was fabulous. Low lighting and a great, romantic atmosphere. Will be returning again soon!

Food wasn't warm enough. Place wasn't packed so no reason to be served barely warm food. Wasn't blown away with flavors and definitely wasn't happy about food temps.

Food was delicious. Server recommended charred oysters and short rib dumplings. Oysters were good, dumplings just ok. We split the grilled romaine salad and Kansas City Strip which they sliced for us in the kitchen. Salad was great and steak was cooked perfectly. I liked the vibe although it was really loud. I'd definitely return.

One of my favorite date night places in Charlotte. The food is top notch and the atmosphere is great. Highly recommended place for those special occasions.

We absolutely LOVE the Cellar at Duckworth's! It's such a fun adventure to walk down the steps into the cellar and view the vintage wooden rafters, nostalgic speak easy atmosphere, and fun date night location. I am not usually a fan of oyster but the preparation and flavor are unique and mouth watering... my date and I used to share the appetizer and now order one each because it's just so delicious to share. All of the items on the menu & nightly specials are fantastic and Julie even helped us make a wonderful drink on my birthday because I was craving something specific and she came up with a drink, we now call "happy happy joy juice" which we ask for every time we, dine at the cellar. I highly recommend their the whole package, atmosphere, dining, drinks, dessert..

Great experience at The Cellar at Duckworth's. The drinks were spectacular, the portions were just right and the flavor was spectacular. We had Tuna Taretare, calamari salad and short ribs. All were flavorful and well presented. We can't wait to come back. I used to visit this restaurant years ago but the Cellar is the grown-up version of a great establishment. We can't wait to bring friends next time.

I had celebrated my anniversary with my partner at The Cellar and am so glad that I did! The upscale and elegant drinks and eats, and speakeasy vibes made it a very special experience. The noise level and lack of private dining spaces was a little disappointing. We had to shout to each other which took away from a romantic evening. But all in all, we were very impressed and have every intention of going back.

I come to this place every now and then and the steaks are great, but in the last month or so the steaks have been amazing easily one of the best places to eat steak in Charlotte ?

In the basement at Duckworth’s. As a bartender from another city, I thought this was an elite bar program. The ambiance was on point. It smelled so good down there. Kind of oaky in a way.The menu was on a tablet, which I thought was pretty cool. They had their own creations, but put an emphasis on the classics and modern classics. They make these classics exactly how you’re supposed to.The bartender was very knowledgeable. I love a good boulevardier, so I ordered one. He suggested his own rendition with Suze and Cynar instead of Campari and sweet vermouth. It was EXCELLENT.Overall, we were so happy we stumbled upon this place.

We had 6:15 reservations on a Thursday night. We were seated promptly at a table that shouldn't exist. It was a 2 person high top on the end of a row. There was a plastic frosted divider between our seats and the next table but it was of little benefit. Unfortunately, the table next to use was a party of 10-12 people, looked like a company happy hour, who were very much enjoying themselves and walking around the area. I know Charlotte is a corporate spot filled with company HH but I feel like our seating really affected the quality of the meal and not sitting 2 people directly next to a 12 person crowd is a layup. Needless to say, it was incredibly loud. It was also very dark. Our waitress asked for ID and she could read it because it's so dark. Drinks were outstanding. Tried the cellar margarita, smoked pecan, the East village and the sarezac. Food was pretty average especially considering the high price points Charlotte charges now. We split short rib dumplings and they were tasty. Entrees were grouper and scallops. Both were lacking any interest. Dessert was good. We split the berry fried dumplings. They were interesting and good. Something you don't see on every menu. No complaints about our server. She was knowledgeable, pleasant and friendly. I can't say much about the decor because it was very dark and if we looked around all we saw was happy hour people. Tried it but wouldn't recommend or return.

Very loud. Close quarters with seating. Food was great. I don't think the restaurant can control the loud mouth people. Too many hybrids or remote workers. Downtown Charlotte seems to be dead compared to pre COVID.

We dined at the Cellar at Duckworth’s on Tryon tonight, and although it's been a while since my last visit, the exceptional food and service remain unchanged. Our meal included steak, candied bacon, Brussels sprouts, clams, and a salad, all enhanced with some delightful cocktails—a combination that's hard to top.

Great experience! It’s connected to duckworth, you just go downstairs. Small area but intimate & romantic. Wish there was more appetizing food options. The caprese was unique but a little too salty with the pecans plus added salt on the burrata.the cellar burger with fries was good & the dumplings were delicious. The server from a place near Ethiopia was amazing & so beautiful! Will love to be back!
