These are the best donuts I have ever had! Their salted butter is second to none! Their stuff is extremely friendly and always a pleasure to deal with. Once, I got a free donut when I came in to pick some up right before they were closing! I love the place and cannot wait to come back!

Doughnuts are on the dry side... couldn't wait to try the lemon filled and was disappointed as to how mild the lemon taste was. Hate to say there was not a single doughnut that I really liked in the 10 purchased. I also had a match latte that was not very good either as it was very weak in flavor... sorry but this place was just not for me.

I got the white chocolate chai donut. I had been eying it for a couple weeks on door dash so when I was in the neighborhood decided to get it. For an almost $5 it was extremely under whelming. No chair flavor, donut itself was bland, and the meringue was unnecessary. Won’t be giving it another shot.

really great donuts, however not celiac friendly! i had one of their GF donuts, and i think it got cross-contaminated--but they DO disclaim that on their menu!!
Fantastic doughnuts--maybe the best in town, or at least neck and neck with Suarez. We are obsessed with the white chocolate chai, brown butter and salt, whipped lemon ricotta, cinnamon pear, and honey butter cinnamon-bun. Everything we have tried has been incredible though. I would say this is one of the few spots in CLT that could compete in a bigger, dining-competitive city and we are so lucky to have it here. Parking is rough, but they deliver, which makes it dangerously easy to over-indulge. We got a couple of boxes delivered in place of cake for a family member's birthday and they went over BIG.

I love salty donut! The staff members are kind, the doughnuts are fresh(made daily), and everything is super tasty. The decor is very pretty as well. Their matcha is AMAZINNNG 10/10!!! The lemonade is pretty good as well, just a little too sweet for my liking.

I visited the Salty Donut during my trip to Charlotte. We visited in the afternoon, we were helped right away. I had their chocolate glazed donut, it was delicious and had just had a hint of salt. I would recommend this donut spot if you are in the area.
