The food was great and the margaritas was A1

The food was delicious! The only thing that gave this restaurant 4 stars was that while I was eating there was a water bug that crawled up the side of the wall next to me. the waitresses were super nice and helped me kill it and moved my seat but that's all.

I love this place!!! There tacos are so unique and absolutely amazing. Their quesadillas are great too! My two favorite tacos are the Cabo Wabo and the magic mushroom. I've tried just about every taco and the only ones I wouldn't recommend are the ones with pork. I personally don't like their pulled pork. All other ones are great

My husband had lunch here today. I was hopeful despite some of the low reviews. We ordered a queso dip (very loose), and it was ok, not much flavor. I had the beef enchiladas, and my husband had two hard tacos. My enchiladas came with a choice of whichever beans you wanted. I told her that I would like the ranchero beans. Our order came out, and she brought me an extra side of the beans (which I did not order, and of course, I was charged for the extra). The meat inside my enchiladas was so salty I did not finish them. My husband said he has had better. Our bill was $37.00 for two tacos, two sodas, the enchiladas, and an unasked-for side of beans. My husband and I probably will not return. There are much better Mexican restaurants around. I would skip this one.

Unfortunately, Tipsy Taco is not a winner in my book. My husband and I went here for dinner and were quite disappointed with our meals, the atmosphere, and the service. After we were seated in the far corner of the restaurant, we waited for a server to come for about 10 minutes. We had to get up from the table to ask if someone was available to take our order. Once they came the server wasn't able to give us any recommendations because he hadn't tried the food. I have worked in the restaurant industry before and part of our training was tasting some of the food. I think that should be a requirement so that the staff can accommodate to our menu questions. We ordered chicken tacos and they seemed to be made out of grocery store frozen chicken nuggets with packaged cheddar cheese (you know with that powdery preservative consistency), lettuce, and a cold to the touch flour tortilla. I was not impressed to say the least. If I were to ever come back here it would be to try some of their creative margaritas. I did think the mango margarita was good. We sat on the restaurant side but the margarita bar area looked like it had a cool atmosphere with TVs to watch the game.

How can a beef taco be bad? When the meat is so over cooked, burnt, dry and tiny pieces that were as tough as pebbles. Sorry, the meat was not freshly made. I'd be surprised if it wasn't left over for a couple of days.

Tipsy Taco exceeded our expectations! Great selection of Import Mexican beers, delicious food - the Al pastor pork & pineapple taco was AMAZING - and really good kids menu. The service was a bit slow, but friendly.

Not busy, not fast, not cheap. Stopped in after a movie so it was mid-afternoon but we were the only ones there.

Random night we are tired after a long day but decided to stop in and try Tipsy Taco. Pleasantly surprised by the food. We tried several tacos. My favorite was the grouper taco. Lightly fried, crunchy slaw and a remoulade sauce. Also tried the al pastor and bang bang shrimp and grilled chicken taco. All were very good my least favorite was al pastor. We also had a burrito refries beans and rice. All very good. We will be back to try more tacos and the nachos next time.

mediocre at best. That's about as positive as I can be.

If I could zero stars I would, asked to sit in the bar area at a high top and was told no because it wasn't in the rotation. I said I wanted to watch the TVs and they refused again. So I left, guarantee this place is going under. Horrible service!

Went for a birthday party last Tuesday with a party of 12. We all ordered at the same time, yet only 5 got their plates. Waited 20-25 minutes, asked our waitress where the rest of our order was and miraculously, they were delivered by the kitchen staff a couple of minutes later. Unfortunately the food was cold and honestly, not worth the price. $36 for three tacos, 2 margaritas and an appetizer plus 20% minimum gratuity (and this was half price taco day). Drinks were also melted as though they were sitting for awhile even thiughe the bar was right behind us. Totally not worth it... Even at half price. Will not return. No apologies, no explanation. In hind sight should've just sent it back but didn't want to ruin the vibe of the birthday celebration. Meanwhile the wait staff was seen joking around next to the POS station. Management definitely needs improvement.

Tipsy Taco is a great place for casual Tex-Mex. We came here before a movie and knew we had to be in and out in about an hour. We ordered queso which came out quickly, then our meals; a chicken burrito and Burris tacos which was all excellent! My only complaint is that we felt slightly rushed with how fast our food came out. Quick service is great, but seating to finish was under 30 minutes and we were left with a lot of time to kill. Overall a good experience, will be back!

My boyfriend and I visited this establishment (the latest in a stringnof businesses in that particular building) on a Friday night prior to catching a movie at Stonecrest. Upon entering, we were greeted by 2 young ladies at hostess stand. We were asked if we would mind a high top table, to which we declined and op-ed for a table in the main dining room (that were plentiful by the way as the restaurant was only at 20% capacity MAX) Upon sitting down at the booth, we then sat ungreeted by ANYONE for a MINIMUM of 10 minutes before I became agitated. The server in the next section (Ms. Alia F.), sensing my agitation, came over and introduced herself and informed us that although she was not our server she would be happy to take our drink orders, and get us some waters before notifying our actual server. Another 10 minutes passed, and we still have yet to receive even water. At that point, I got up and approached the hostess stand to inquire about the whereabouts of the server for our section. The young lady that I asked, UNENTHUSIASTICALLY replied "I'll go see". A few minutes later, the same lady from the hostess stand brings over our waters and L-I-T-E-R-A-L-L-Y puts them on the table and walks away (without a word). It is at that point that I realize that SHE WAS OUR SERVER and was now pissed off that I inquired of her whereabouts to her, unbeknownst to me. Our server walks away and greets another table complete with smiles and friendly banter. Alia F. (The server from the adjacent section) returns with our drinks and I ask her name (with the intentions of giving her her props for her hard work and attempts to remedy the situation created by her coworker) as well as her managers name. I ask her to have her manger come over to the table. The manager, Laura, was informed by me of our experiences up to that point. I also informed her that I would be writing a review detailing said experiences as well as informed her of the WONDERFUL job of Ms. Alia F. The manager was thankful for the feedback and apologetic for our negative experience. She went on the comp our meal (which was really unnecessary but a nice gesture). My only point in writing this review and having a discussion with Laura the manager was to: 1) bring to awareness to the complete lack of customer service exemplified by much of the staff; so that perhaps additional training or intervention can be applied and 2) bring awareness to the EXCEPTIONAL and ABOVE AND BEYOND level of service demonstrated by Alia F. Superica Strawberry Hill is our normal Friday night spot but we attempted to try something different due to Tipsy's proximity to the theater. I think we will be taking our business back to Superica indefinitely.
