Fav place to get a cheesecake for my husband's bday. The carrot cake one is one of the best cheesecakes I've ever had. I pop in for pastries sometimes too. I really love their olive oil cake. The service is a little slow, but staff is very nice. The atmosphere leaves something to be desired because the line area for customers is so small and congested that everyone kind of stands on top of eachother waiting. That said, I would keep ordering cheesecakes from them even if they served them out of a dumpster. I think I'll try their macaroons next time.

Best Italian bakery in the CLT area! The staff are great and all the baked goods are worth a try. There is no indoor seating but outside seating is available, perfect on a nice day! 100% worth a visit!

Definitely not your nonna’s bakery!Parking is not easy, up to 20min line outside, can’t imagine doing this in summer! Once inside saw that only 2 out of 6 employees were servicing customers!!Pastries are good, great variety. Obviously doing something right when there’s a wait out the door!

I've been here many times and service is always good, but whenever I've ordered any type of cake, it was dry, stale, and inedible. The crumb cake is abominable. The pastries aren't a whole lot better, with the exception of the lobster claw. It's astounding to see all these rave reviews. There are much better bakeries in Charlotte, like Renaissance, Copain, and Suarez.

I just left on 3/23, I purchased cheesecake, a lemon bar and a napoleon. This is the worst dessert food I have ever gotten. The lemon bar was a thick graham cracker with lemon icing, the cheesecake was grainy with absolutely no taste and the napoleon had the texture of soggy toilet paper. Maybe it’s an off day but for $30+ and the online rating, this was a crash and burn.

I have never once been disappointed by this spot. Do not skip the cake slices. I went late one night and the Italian cream cake was one of the only few left so I got a piece. As well as tiramisu, cream horns and a few Italian cookies. That cake changed my life. I don’t want to rave about it too much and run the risk of it selling out but oh my god? So good. Tiramisu was delightful and anything with cream inside- get two.

We stopped after dinner for some treats. Terrific carrot cake. My s'more bar was delicious and very rich. Hubby had the Napolian but the dough wasn't crispy like he loves it. Overall good eats.
