So glad we discovered this little gem for breakfast. They had standard dishes as well as more unique ones. I ordered the Booker T's East Side Hasher which was described as sweet potato hashbrowns topped with frittata style eggs with your choice of meat, green onions and cheese. I chose the chipotle chicken. There was an up charge for it but that was noted on the menu. I would not have described the swee potatoes as hash browns. They were softer with the flavor of a sweet potato casserole, but I like all sweet potatoes so still enjoyed it. Husband ordered the Blazin'' Saddles omelette. He said it had a bit of kick with the fresh jalapeños which he likes. Husband really like the apple butter on his biscuit. Overall service was good and portion sizes were generous. I'f like to return and try some of the other menu options.

We shared a salad and grilled cheese. The lettuce was so wilted it was chewy. The dressing was excellent, the hummus was excellent but for the price of a portion (which was small for a regular salad) of lettuce, the salad was a turn off. Now if I order a grilled cheese at a restaurant, I expect it to be spectacular. The bread was barley warm and also stale, the cheese, choice of two was sparce and almost non existent. It came with a side of blue and red chips which were good but not nearly enough. I was very disappointed with this experience and really wanted it to be good because I'm in the Belmont area every Saturday.

Hostess was unfriendly. We were told we had to wait even though there were tables available. We waited 20 minutes as even more tables opened only to have the hostess seat another couple, who had just walked up, at the very table she said we couldn’t have. We’ll be sure sure to tell our friends.

I love this little breakfast spot! It's such a great location and their outdoor patio is perfect. Their jalapeno grits are amazing and I like a little cheese added into mine ~ chef's kiss. You really can't go wrong with anything you order here, it's affordable and great tasting food! And totally dog friendly, yay!!

From the initial phone call and entry to the restaurant I was greeted respectfully and my questions were answered patiently by my waitress, Kaylan. The inside is vintage and comfortable, clean, purple?? with the bar islanded in the center with varied styles of music. They have collectibles, art work, stickers, posters, and natural and dim light. I ordered the pancakes, eggs, and sausage. The food was cooked perfectly. Golden brown pancakes ?, scrambled eggs? sausage patties taste good. Pancakes were okay. Their sweet tea was the bomb The service was spot on. Not very busy today, but I image it gets up there. Overall, I will give it 4 star for my first encounter. The service really puts and keeps there. I left hungry still. Hope this helps but I highly recommend this place on the Plaza in Charlotte, NC.

It was pretty good on a Saturday noon. The French toast was average even though it was pretty hyped. Good service. Friendly staff.

Shrinkflation has come to our place we loved. We get the same thing each week. Pancakes have shrunk, omelette no longer makes sense and prices to high. Sorry to say goodbye, so long Zada. Good ride for a long time.

I got the Zada Jane's basic breakfast with bacon and sweet potatoes and it was amazing. Everything was tasty and the price was perfect. I also loved the atmosphere and Ryan was friendly, gave great service and made sure I was very well taken care of. This was my first time, but will not be my last.

The food was terrible. My potatoes and my biscuits were reheated and dried out. The grease had completely separated from the milk on my gravy too. Nothing was fresh or hot. It was so expensive considering how poor the quality of the food was. The waitress was nice though.

Zada Jane's became one of my favorite places in Charlotte. It's a hip place with amazing food and tremendous attention to little details around ingredients and flavors.I'm looking forward to coming back.

Awesome spot! My friend and I brought our dogs and sat outside in the sun. The staff was so kind and brought our pups water. Food and service was amazing! Super chill atmosphere.

A great spot for breakfast or lunch. I typically go for lunch. My favorite item (pictured) is the Druther's Clucker. Which is their grilled chicken sandwich with Mozzarella cheese, caramelized onions and mayo on foccia br get your choice of side, this time I chose a salad with honey balsamic vinaigrette. (All dressings are made in house btw)
