From its bright pink exterior to the hanging flowers and plant walls, Birritaco is a virbant, joyful place to be. The food is fresh and flavorful. The margaritas are delicious as well. If you can't decide which flavor margarita to get, you can't go wrong with the margarita flight.
Best torta I’ve ever had in my life. The only thing I’d recommend is having chips as an option for those who don’t prefer tostadas with the salsa, but that’s a complimentary item so not a big deal. In general, I’d say the food isn’t watered down like at a lot of Mexican/hispanic restaurants of similar size.

Very disappointed with the service this last time. Staff is very very unfriendly and do not tell you the prices of any of the Tequilas or Mezcals until the bill comes and it's $20 or more a shot. They seriously need a price list for customers to look at and select from. Lastly the prices are high for what they are serving & the area. The Birria quesadilla was dry, not tasty and they never even gave us silverware or plastic utensils to eat with. They just didn't care. Three tacos, agua fresca, a shot ? of mezcal, a tiny side of guacamole, a side of queso and a quesadilla should not have cost $60 on Taco Tuesday no less... I definitely will not be back.

Shout out to the bartender. I will most definitely be coming back for this, it was so good. The Birria fires were good also. This Margarita flight tho,omg all I can say is shout out to the bartender. Go check them out. The only reason I gave them four stars is being my waitress seem to get a bit overwhelmed and kinda left me and my girl hanging didn’t come back to check on us until after the fact but overall everything will good and the atmosphere was great. Idk maybe it was an off night, I tipped her but it would’ve been so much bigger had my table been checked on continuouslyGo check them and make sure you get this Margarita flight cause I’m feeling Quite nice right now ?

A really great experience at Birria. Let me start with a headline grabber. Go out of your way to go here! Yes, it is that good. I am not expert on what is and is not authentic but I tend to believe based on the unique and exceptional flavors I experienced here it is some of the best in the Charlotte area. The parking is extremely limited. Try to go on a weeknight. They have a special just about every day. The tacos tasted incredibly fresh and made to order. The cheeses and sauces were great. The guacamole on the steak tacos was something I’ve never tasted before. A sweet but bitter taste that left me wanting more. They have a unique chips and salsa offerings that I enjoyed. Getting the queso as an add on is highly recommended. I have nothing but good things to say about this location. I enjoyed every single bite and the service was friendly and attentive and in no way rushed.

Absolutely delicious Margarita Flights and the tacos are by far the best in town. We enjoyed Creamy Poblano & Tacos el Pastor. The margaritas were smooth, flavorful, perfectly designed combos. Service was on point.

Very cool place. Service was good, food was excellent and the atmosphere was very cool. I had the Mexican Ramen which was something totally unique to me. Think a good ramen bowl meets birri taco. I would get this again and again. My wife got the carne asada plate, cooked perfectly and the pickled onions with habaneros were amazing. We also both got margarita flights which I thought was a clever idea. My favorites were guava and pineapple but desert pear was right there also. I would make it a point to try them out!
