I’m curious how this location is still even open. I’ve lived in Concord my entire life and can count on one hand how many cars I’ve seen in the parking lot and drive thru combined. Most of the city is perplexed by the help wanted sign at the road. Either someone in charge is squeezing the life out of a penny; and I mean squeezing every last drop out of that penny, or something sketchy is going on.

I call them to let them know my ColeslawWas spoiled and the amount of food that I paid for was not Reasonable. The young night Manager hung up in my face. So I went to the store to show him. He walk away from the window and close as I was telling him. I don't want anything free. Im just letting you know. Not been rude .He close the window in my face. He was the tall young looking one like he's 17 year's old. He need a class on how to work with the public if they not been rude or Hostel. This happen. July 31 20 between 6:45- 7:30. From the call until I pull up.

Captain D's has been a staple in this neighborhood for quite a while, the food is really good but the service is bad. Certain staff members at this establishment seem stressed and overworked. As we pull up we look for lights or the open sign to be on so we know they are operational. The restaurant itself seems desolate and rundown, from the parking lot to the doors to the windows; It needs an overhaul from the inside out! If you want good, reasonably priced seafood I guess you're going to have to take it with a side of attitude.

They can't get a simple food order right and give a pitiful amount of food for their prices. When you call their number to speak to the manager or to file a complaint, no one ever answers the phone and you can't leave a message. Gee, what a coincidence. Their staff have absolutely no customer service or people skills either.

Took 45 minutes in the drive thru to get our food. When we pulled up they told us our total, we handed them our coupon and they told us so we had to tell them that we had a coupon when we ordered. We did tell them about our $3 coupon because we saw two signs when we ordered that said we had to at the speaker. They also charged me the full price for the sides instead of the discounted upcharge. With a little bit of disappointment, the cashier did refund us. Unfortunately, she didn't know math very well. I need to find a new Captain D's or one that I can pay with an app

It literally takes forever to get your food without them saying that there’s a wait for food. The fish was greasy like it was dropped back in oil and the fries needed to be thrown out in the next 3-5 min of sitting. Please update the receipts because if I needed to come back, I didn’t order in 2014. It’s been like this every time I’ve come here. This use to be a good place. I’ll drive to Salisbury next time I want Captain D’s because their food is always hot and fresh. And it doesn’t take 15 to get it. I should have sat down in a restaurant for the price and the wait.

We had not been here in years but went a few months back and liked it. Last two visits they must have a new crew. Service absolutely sucked. DO NOT LEAVE WITHOUT CHECKING YOUR ORDER. Ordered condiments when placing order and was told to pull into parking space and they would bring my order out. When the man brought it out I asked if the condiments I ordered were in the bag and he said yes they were. Got home and nothing. Probably my last time going here. Second time in a row this has happened. Guy needs to stay off his phone and focus.

I was craving fish and chips, and this was the only place I could find open on sunday. I ordered 2, two piece fish lunch. It came with two pieces of fish, two hush puppies?, French fries and coleslaw. No drink. It was $15+ for just those two orders, I thought that was a little pricey for fast food! We were the only one in the drive-thru, no customers inside and the order took forever!! Fish was good, french fries okay, husband said the coleslaw was okay and neither of us eat hush puppies. I wouldn't eat here again.

Captain D's needs to just close this restaurant. I came thru the parking lot and thought they were closed because there were no vehicles anywhere but the open sign was lit up. So I went to drive thru and kept saying hello but after 4-5 minutes I decided they must be closed. Drove around and looked in drive thru window and saw no lights on. Decided to look at maps on my phone to see if the restaurant had closed down....it said they were open. I called and it rang 9-10 times until finally someone answered by saying " WHAT".....I asked if they were Captain D's thinking no restaurant answers their phone like that. The guy said "YEA".really rude sounding. Told him I was gonna go back thru drive thru without getting any response. Went back and he got on intercom saying" What" rudely again. Got food home to find the fish almost raw.....unedible....this was on February 9th at 4:30 PM.....really need to close this place or get new people......
