I'm not sure what it is with restaurants hating Doordash but it is so frustrating to deal with these places that use Doordash but hate the dashers. This place is especially rude and impossible to deal with. The signs posted on the doors and the message you get when you accept a pick up from this place is just off putting. The don't want a dasher coming in the store until the food is ready but then when you finally get the message that it's ready they then treat you like it took you so long to get there. It's just a very unwelcoming and difficult atmosphere. Not sure how you can own a restaurant and piss off everybody that either tries to eat there or tries to offer a delivery of your product to a customer. The food is never consistent. The pizza will be perfect one time then burned the next. The lasagna has burnt edges more times then not that makes it impossible to eat. Most ingredients tastes canned. I don't recommend them but they are still in business due to there not being many Italian places near that area. It's never busy.

Have always gone there for great pizza but we will never be back! Terrible attitude from the lady behind the counter so we left.

Great local place sorta tucked away on the corner of the Foodlion shopping center. We have enjoy the pizza multiple times a year, but what keeps us going back is the verity of great dishes on the menu, if you want a mom and pop small pizza place this place is for you. Table service has always been quick and convenient. Thanks for the best neighborhood pizza.

This place is pretty solid. We have only gone a few times and this last time decided to branch out and try some other things than just Pizza Hut forgot to take a picture of the pizza, which comes as no aurora is their best menu item. We had the supreme, and it was pretty good. The veggies and meats cooked together well so you know the veggies were chopped the right size. The wings and Alfredo were as good as you'd expect from takeout pizza places. Sometimes it hits the spot. As usual, I love any kind of garlic knots but I would have liked some garlic butter thrown on there. I can see why this place has been around for a while- it's predictable food and fair with prices.

We ate in the restaurant and were surprised when the food came to our table in takeout containers. If we wanted takeout we would have taken it home.

We’ve been customers for many years so it’s hard to have to write this. The food is not the quality it used to be. The last several orders have been very disappointing - overcooked, salty, greasy. And last night’s wings were so charred (burnt) we couldn’t eat them. It’s sad that someone thought they were ok to send out. The order was a big waste of money.

Long rant, sorry. Food was actually solid. Average Italian food you can get anywhere. Not disgusting, yet nothing special. Alfredo was kinda bland but cheesy at least. Pasta wasn’t overcooked which is rare. Typical casual Italian food. I didn’t expect a Michelin star Alfredo dish for $12.(Garlic “knot” tasted fine but it was a ball of dough. Supposed to be shaped like, you guessed it, a knot.) My real gripe was we ordered DoorDash for pickup and it took forever and the people (mostly the older guy) was rude. We could have ordered at the place, and our food would’ve been done in a shorter period of time even though we ordered ahead. The store is poorly setup. 10 foot area for waiting for pickups and to order and then a massive dine in area with only two people sitting at one table.I don’t even mind the wait it seemed other people were waiting for pickup. It was busy on a weekend night that’s understandable. My friend went up to get the drinks we ordered “whoa whoa whoa we already have them put those back.”My DD app says the foods ready…After waiting for 20 minutes he goes “was your order for *my sisters name*?” Yeah. Showed him fine our order. Cool“Okay it’s ready.” Great! My friend gets up from the bench “Wait man I gotta bag it.” Then it’s not really ready… Could’ve said “it’ll be done in a minute we’re bagging it now.”Some people enjoyed his humor and I’m sure if you’re a regular and familiar with him he’s a nice guy. But as a first time customer it’s off-putting.Basically if you’re getting this food delivered you’ll think it’s a solid pizza place. Lots of options. I’d even recommend trying. If you dine-in it’s not a great experience. Lifeless atmosphere. Outdated (not old school on purpose) interior. Rude service (blonde woman working was pretty professional)

I hate to do this. I get to go from here once a week without fail. Myself and parents decided to try dine in since they re-opened the dinning room. This isn’t the first time we have experienced one of the owners just be out right rude. We ordered at the register and my parents went to get drinks and sit down. No one said wait one second let me give you your cups. So my mom found cups next to the fountain drinks and went to get one. One of the owners yelled at her that we aren’t to use those cups. He could have simply said “excuse me ma’am I’m sorry for the confusion but we don’t use these, the cashier hands you them” but he yelled at her in front other customers. She was in shock or she would have responded in kind and we would have left. The customers who witnessed this also said he is always rude. There are two owners from what I’ve been told and I believe Jimmy is the nice one and this is the other one. You have lost loyal customers and money from myself because I will not return no matter how much enjoy the food. In this world full of ugly we don’t need to pay nor support a business that is KNOWN for its rude owner. And perhaps the reason you can not keep employees is because of how you treat them!

I tried Giovanni's gluten-free pizza via Uber Eats some time ago and really enjoyed it. Today, I was in the mood for some pizza, so the hubby and I jumped into the car and headed on over. Upon first glance from the parking lot, it didn't seem like the restaurant had room to dine; however, upon entry seating was located to the left. Before seating yourself, you will need to order your food. I ordered the gluten-free pepperoni personal size pizza. My hubby ordered the goat cheese pizza and added pepperoni. The restaurant is nothing special on the inside, FYI, but girl who took our order was pleasant. It took about 10 minutes before the pizzas were done. I received my order but my hubby's order was wrong. He sent his pizza back and they cooked him the correct pizza and even offered us dessert for the mishap. Both of our pizzas were delicious. We both rated our pizzas a 5/5. We would have gotten dessert if they came back to take our order but they must have forgotten and we really didn't need it. I would have rated them a 5/5, but had to remove a star since they didn't come back to ask us about dessert. Overall, I would definitely recommend Giovanni's. The pizzas are really good.

Giovanni's food is always excellent! Spaghetti, Pizza, Lasagna and other Italian dishes are great. Their salads are fresh and the grilled chicken is really good. If you haven't been here, definitely give it a try!!

I do not recommend this place if you are looking for good pizza. The pizza dough wasn’t fully cooked. The crust was raw and doughy inside. I bought two large pizzas which came to a ridiculous amount and having to pay over the phone seemed strange. Definitely won’t be ordering from here again.

The vibes was off when I walked in but I gave em a chance.. The cashier was very sweet and did her best to accommodate me!! I ordered a personal pizza, cheese sticks, and boneless wings. Lets start with the pizza.. I ordered a specialty pizza and wanted to remove a topping in place of another (Italian sausage in place of plain sausage) I was told that I would still be charged an additional topping fee..ok I can live with that… I ordered my boneless chicken wings well done or crispy but when I received them they appeared burnt and I gave them a chance and bit one anyway when I felt like they were cooked too fast, too long, and not enough all at the same time! (pic inserted). I took them back and was told their boneless wings look like that when they are cooked and then that they were like this because i asked for them crispy… I asked for crispy not burnt sir ?.. then he cut me off and said you want your money back??? Yup thats fine sir!! Needless to say I wont be back and the cheese sticks were hot but not melted if that makes sense.. no pull to the cheese at all!!! Over all they were rude..gouging..and disappointing at best. Guess the pizza was aight but it ain't givin Italian tho.
