Slow service, waited a long time for four meals. The food was edible but that’s about it. Way too expensive for poor service and mediocre food. Save yourself time and money, and leave the resort to get food.

Waited a hour for food .When we got it, It was worth the wait. Fire cracker chicken and the Fire Cracker Shrimp . First time going so didn’t think we would have to wait that long . I guess this is the norm .

I definitely understand the reviews that I read on here. However, we had an overall good experience. The atmosphere is great. The drinks were great. Service was also, absolutely great. Our server Te’Liyah was as friendly as she was I top of everything. The only complaint are the fries, they were an absolute oily mess. They didn’t taste like fries, they tasted like the oil they were cooked in. We have been before when it was much busier and had to wait much longer. It all most likely up to how busy they are. The food isn’t worth the price, but it all designed to be all inclusive, so they are gonna jack those prices up a bit.

The staff was friendly but the food was garbage. Soggy fries, sides dripping in oil. Beer from a spoiled keg.

Restaurant was beautiful and cozy. Our server was very polite, on top of our order/drinks, and was very quick. Our only complaint was the food. We ordered the meatball appetizer and we thoroughly enjoyed that. The issue we had was our dinner meals. My husband ordered the ribs. I do not recommend!!! They were extremely tough and not worth $34. We had to use a knife to cut the meat off. Only 3 ribs were actually eaten. (My husband ate 2 and I attempted to eat one. I couldn’t finish it. I had to get my steak remade… The first one came out burned on the bottom; too much charring as it overwhelmed the flavor of the steak. Second steak was better. Was it worth $38? No. Not in my opinion. While this place is convenient; the food was not as enjoyable as we had hoped for paying $100 for 2 adults and a child. Again the server and cook were very nice…. But there are better restaurants surrounding the GWL. We won’t be eating here again.

A surprisingly solid option for food that isn't pizza-and-nuggies in Great Wolf Lodge. The food was nice - Korean sticky wings saucy and tasty, beef short rib bolognese pasta rich with perfectly cooked rigatoni (I did have one pure gristle piece though), kids pasta and meatballs good. The food came fast. Service was genial.Only complaints would be a lack of variety in menu (only one soup, only two pastas, etc), but a focused menu may be a relief to some. Also, I was surprised and disappointed that they didn't have any kids coloring pages at opening time.

For convenience, we decided to stay in for the night, we had a party of seven & the waitress, sat us at a tiny table for six, however, there was a table available for 8 next to us and multiple empty tables, so we asked to be moved. It took a while for us to even be acknowledged to get our order, once our orders were placed, six of us were served, but My husband's order was wrong, which was a salad with shrimp and they brought chicken, it was sent back & we waited and waited, when we mentioned to the waitress that he never received his meal she seemed very nonchalant, didn't care, & my sister-in-law's salad had very little dressing and she requested extra dressing and she waited at least 30 minutes for that, 45 minutes later my husband finally left and had to go to the poolside downstairs to get something to eat. It's a shame. The food was decent, but the service was horrible. Our waitress did not care nor apologize! we told manger and she was sorry and boxed his meal but too little too late. And sadly, we were told reason was they wanted to make sure the shrimp were good and well done.... shrimp take 3 to 4 minutes to cook, ridiculous!

Our large group of 16 went to eat here while staying at GWL. We showed up at 8:10, they said it was a 20 minute wait, and it was. We were the only people in the restaurant, with several workers around. After a long wait, the server took about half our table's drink orders and then walked away. When she finally came back, we let her know we'd like to go ahead and order food. She seemed really flustered and like she just didn't know what to do. She did take the rest of our drink orders, then app orders, and then was willing to take food orders. We waited a very long time for food, and when it came it was so so. I got the chicken lettuce wraps, and the chicken was incredibly hard, chewy, and just tasted old. The rest of the dish was fine, but it was lettuce, corn, and carrots. Other people seemed to have a better experience with their food, so it seems if you order wisely the food can be good. But overall, we were the only people there, staff seemed overwhelmed, it was expensive and not that great. If you're at GWL, there's are better options for the money in the area.

Food was brought out after a long wait and fries were cold on all the plates. We said something and they offered to bring fesh fries but by the time we got those fries our other food was cold. My son had drank all his drink before food came and almost ate all his food before we had to ask for a refill. We never got refills unless we asked for them. Finally just asked for box and drinks to go. Was very disappointed in a $38 plate of steak and fries.

Wish you could put a negative sign in front of the stars. 5th in line when opened and name on wait list. For whatever reason this place opens at 5pm but doesn't seat customers. Was told 15 minute wait but took 1.5 hours to be seated. Hostess took people behind us who asked for reservation set 15 minutes later. Guess that's the trick, wait in line, make reservation for now, cut in front of everyone who was there first. Reservation system didn't work. Hostess claimed those ppl made reservations days prior.... Really?! We witnessed people behind us in line make reservations for 15 minutes later and they were all seated before us. Should have gotten back in line to do the same. Food is same quality as the buffet just cost more. Limited menu and typically run out of food options. Oh you wanted ribs, sorry, were out of ribs, how about a cheeseburger, no out of that too. Don't ask for a menu, just ask what they actually have. Not a fun experience. Waiting Staff is nice though and they don't deserve a low rating. Want advice? Dying waste your time and money eating at the lodge. Make the 5 minute drive elsewhere, heck even a 30 minute drive to a restaurant would be quicker than this place. Took 20 minutes to get drinks. Didn't know it took that long to pour water into a cup. Learn something new every day. Let's see how long it takes for this meal to come out. Maybe it's strategy to starve patrons so they don't care how bad the food taste. Come on Great Wolf Lodge. You serviving off of first time customers? Who would subject themselves to this a second time? Remember all, I got here at 5pm when opened, placed on a wait list, was told 15 minute wait even though no one was seated. it's now 7pm and I still haven't received my food. Heck I don't even have silverware. Waitress is super nice though. Very friendly and trying desperately to accommodate all these frustrated customers. Update on the food. Finally arrived at 730pm so we didn't have to wait to long to get it. Steak, chicken, Alfredo. Decent enough for the in lodge restaurant. Not worth the hassle and wait but if you walk up and make a reservation for right now you'll get in and then it might be worth it. 7 meals cost $210.

I wished I would have checked these reviews before I ate here. Overpriced, long wait for halfway decent food. I'm annoyed with this place, they really should be ashamed. I originally gave a two but came back to reduce those stars to a 1 just because they gave my 4 year old some horrible tasting chicken fingers. Now I have to go find him some more food because he won't eat it. Chicken fingers? How can you mess up chicken fingers too?!

Slow, mediocre food at best. Go to buffet next door if you have anywhere to be. Service staff was professional. Dining area was clean

The little fella in the back that calls himself a chef is a disgrace. Learn how to use a microwave before jumping on the line, kid.

I was worried because of the reviews, but the service and food was excellent!Cheeseburger was perfectly cooked, wilderness bowl was tasty, and the kids loved their chicken tenders.
