In the words of Simba "Slimy yet satisfying". Unfortunately the phrase hakuna matata does not apply to this situation. I ordered a vegetarian salad. I was traumatized as I closely examined deceased wild life in my meal. I blinked in disbelief, "wait when does lettuce have legs and look like a grasshopper"? My companions noticed a change in my disposition, looked at my plate and quickly answered the question running through my brain. Needless to say, the situation was quickly/graciously resolved by management with a refund and disguarding all lettuce from where it originated. Whew that was a close one. No I did not eat an insect lol. I have been dining at McAlister's for years and this has never occurred. 5 stars for the manager. One star for the insect (not exactly sure what is was, dragonfly?) Needless to say our visit came to an abrupt end:). PSA: Just check your lettuce.

After waiting over 20 minutes for my order, I was informed my order was given to the wrong person. The manager did not even apologize when she came to refund my purchase. The dining room was not a pleasant experience because apparently an employee brought their young kids to work and set them at a table near the register. They had their toys turned u so loud that the person taking my order could not hear me, and I couldn't heat her. And these kids were running all over the restaurant. Not a good experience or atmosphere for the people eating there.

Ordered chicken stuffed potato. It really wasn’t hot enough to melt my butter but was full of toppings which I appreciated.

Very tasty veggie chili and veggie spud, which was larger than I expected for a half spud. Ordering and service were easy and excellent. As always, the ice tea was well above average.
We visit our McAlister's Deli restaurant back home all the time but this was our first visit to this location. We really enjoyed our meals and will definitely keep it in mind as a valid option if we're ever back in this area, again.I usually enjoy a bowl of cheddar & broccoli soup with my sandwich option, but I tried the chicken & tortilla soup this time. Good googley-moogley! That stuff was really good!It had a little bit of a spicy kick I hadn't expected and the flavor was excellent! It was a pleasant surprise.

Food is really good but every time I come here they always put tomato on my sandwich. It's gotten so bad that I consciously don't tip them at checkout because they've screwed me over so many times. This time is no exception.
