I’m currently away from my North Carolina home for a month and all I can think every time I visit a coffee shop here is “Dang, this is SO not as good as Press & Porter.” and find myself disappointed! When I’m at home I frequent this place twice weekly (at LEAST) and the coffee is just FANTASTIC! It’s run with such care and you always get the friendliest service. I miss their mocha latte and their cinnamon bun cold brew… you best bet as soon as I make it home, this is going to be my first stop again! My BFF and I drove by to grab some iced coffee, and OMG it's heaven in your mouth!I got the Zoe with a caramel drizzle. It was so unbelievably bursting with flavor. Press and Porter is definitely a favorite place of mine now. Service is outstanding, and wait time on delivery of order is quite fast paced. Parking was a little bit of a challenge, we waited for a spot to open. Although it was worth the wait!If you are looking for a magical coffee run, drop by and try out them out! You will love the entire experience. ♡

My son loved to look at the construction going on out the front window so they created a construction play area! My daughter loves to go on our “coffee dates” and is so excited to wear her new shirt!

Favorite coffee spot in the area! The service is always welcoming and accommodating to my four children. I’ve never had a bad drink and the seasonal menu is always a treat. There is plenty of cozy seating for one-on-one meetings, working alone, hanging with a group, or taking the kids for a reading day. Lots of easy options for parking, even with the never ending construction on Union St.So thankful to live in walking distance of this little piece of home.

This is my favorite local coffee shop! Their coffee is consistently great, and I love that they have fun seasonal drinks. They always remember my coffee order! It is soooo cute and welcoming. They have delicious pastries and treats, and I love that they have lunch options too!The ladies that run this place have been through so much hardship with construction shutting down their front/main entrance, but they still show up every day with smiles on their faces. We first started frequenting P&P in late 2021, and has become a weekly (often multiple times a week) tradition for us. The coffee and espresso is incredible. The drink menu is vast and well developed and we have ordered “off menu” to great success. There is a “favorites” menu from baristas and locals that has some unique and wonderful drinks on it. The pastries and quick bites are very good. Try an affogato on a hot summer afternoon or a gingerbread latte in the winter, you won’t be disappointed.The baristas are welcoming, professional, and highly skilled. The owners take incredible care of the shop, keep the menu fresh and exciting, and have always delivered a great experience. We love the feeling of community when we come in to visit.I used to take advantage of the free (and fast!) Wi-Fi to complete my coursework and study for exams. I never had trouble finding a table and an outlet to myself or to share with someone else doing computer work. The noise level is what you would expect for a community coffee house. It has plenty of comfortable seating to relax and hang out in. Board games are available upon request, and there are plenty of books and toys for the younger ones.Despite the construction woes, P&P has stayed a beacon of the community and is a powerful voice in the push to shop (and drink great coffee!) small.
