I've been really pleased with this new chain restaurant. They play blues music inside. And the chicken sandwiches are really good. Not the same, but as good in their own way as Chick-fil-A and a tiny bit less expensive. The have outdoor seating and a drive thru.

The chicken itself is pretty good. Decent portions. Price like anywhere else. The grilled Texas toast definitely tasted like there's vegetable oil used to cut the butter. Or maybe it's butter crisco. And garlic used to disguise the oil taste. It's noticeable and not good. Otherwise, I'd probably return.

The average ratings almost kept us away. We were actually pleasantly surprised. The food was great. The kids loved it.
We visited slim chickens in concord yesterday for first time we find the menu is pricey for the small amounts that you do get. It’s so loud in the restaurant can’t talk unless you scream which is small and tables are too crowded sitting next to others. Example a couple that was overweight kept hitting our elbows while they were sitting up a long table and elderly people were waiting for a table. If you going have a party of more than 5 move them outside where others do not have to be bothered and can enjoy their lunch.
I had the chicken sandwich and it was dry and a little too salty. Sandwich came with pickles and some cayenne ranch dressing which I didn't like. Also purchased a side of Mac & cheese which was a small scoop for $3.49.I will not be going back.
