Service and all the food was amazing. We sat in the back and had plenty of room for the 6 of us. I will definitely be back to try more.

Quality Sushi and excellent renditions of Thai classics. Being used to NY quality, we had no great expectations in NC, but we were very pleased with everything. Excellent service too. We are always looking for small non-corporate restaurants. This was a prime example of what a caring family can do!Kid-friendliness: A family place. Tons of pictures with kids on the walls.

Assumed "cafe" meant more basic and simple food. Was astonished that prices are 50% more than South Charlotte, and the place is dirty. The general rule I learned to follow having lived near Little Tokyo is "dirty sushi restaurant do not go." If the front is not clean, one doubts how clean the kitchen it is and an a sincere wonderment if it is safe establishment to eat raw fish....

It took nearly 2 years until I realized that there was a sushi cafe restaurant right at the intersection of Church & Lake Concord. It's so hidden and camouflaged in a generic office looking building! If it wasn't for the 'Open' sign illuminated at night, I prob would have never noticed it.I always pictured that building to be general offices.I decided to finally stop inside.Quiet n subtle atmosphere. Prob because it was a Sunday afternoon. I imagine it being quite the opposite on Friday/Sat. night. The host was talkative and friendly. Walked me through the brief history of the place (which is quite small and narrow inside, btw).Figured this was my chance to finally try the ever popular Pho everyone keeps talking about.I never had it in my life - I thought it was great here. Great size portion with loads of flavors and fixings. I got the beef version.Basically a large soup.Other reviews state it's not the best, and they may be right. But for my first time, I was content. Now I know what to expect if I happen to get it elsewhere.Nice little spot overall. I'd come back again and try something else.Parking: Lots of parking available to the side of the building.

If I could give my experience on 1/13/24, 0 stars I would!!!! I told them no sesame seeds on my dish because of an allergy, assuming that they would take it off of all my dishes seeing as I had an allergy. When I got the sushi it had sesame seeds. When I returned my sushi, I was able to hear the pregnant woman behind the counter complaining about how I should I have known what I was ordering. (Even though it was not specified on the menu.) My friend ordered the Georgia tech sushi roll with calamari and she found it was over cooked and was rubbery. When she returned the sushi we heard the lady exclaim, “SHE DIDNT-” she went on to speak loudly about how “THIS ISNT A TASTE TEST, TASTE AND TRY!!” I have NEVER felt as disrespected as a paying customer as I have at this restaurant. ESPECIALLY in regards to something as life threatening as food allergies!!!!!Dietary restrictions: They were NOT careful about my allergies, and made me feel like a burden for having them make a new sushi roll without my allergen.

This place has some of the best sushi in the area. We have been going here for years and love it.

I will never go here again but if you do, pay CASH! The waitress will adjust your tip amount no matter what you leave her. I left the tip amount I saw reasonable for the service we received. The waitress fixed my tip to what she thought she should have received. My card then got overcharged because of her tip amount she left herself. It was super disappointing and dissatisfying. I am bummed out about the whole thing!
