Wanted to try it because of the local buzz. Not really all that. Some of the food was good. The taco meat was like dog food. The Hambuger was mealy. Yes, I judge a place on tacos. If you can't get a taco right, there is problems. Our waitress had a real problem understanding English. I get it, it's a Latino restaurant and I don't expect folks to speak English but at the least, have the wait staff understand the words on the menu. I asked for hot salsa and she had to call over help to translate. I worry about that stuff hanging all over the place. All of it is a trap for dust. If they have a way to clean it, great, otherwise it's a mess. I felt like I was in an aquarium with all the plant like stuff hanging about.

The beautiful interior makes it a great place for a casual yet enjoyable dining experience, perfect for couples or even a group gathering.The customer service truly shined--our waitress was an absolute gem. She was incredibly attentive, keeping our drinks refilled and chips flowing throughout the meal (the salsa was seriously addictive, by the way!) Our orders arrived perfectly cooked and without any issues or need to send back.Speaking of the food, the portions were quite generous! Everything we tried was bursting with flavor, and the price point felt very reasonable considering the plate sizes and quality of the food. We even left with leftovers to enjoy later, which is always a plus.While the drinks were slightly on the pricier side, they were definitely worth the splurge; they were well-crafted and perfectly complemented the food.Overall, our lunch experience at Casa Azul today was fantastic! We loved everything--the tasty and plentiful food, the refreshing drinks, the outstanding customer service from our awesome waitress, and the fun and inviting atmosphere.
