The bread tasted old and dried out, The meat on the sub tasted weird like processed, The spoonful of meat was in the middle of the sub with two thin slices of provolone cheese on top of it. For $21 I would have expected a real sandwich like you would get it a real sandwich or sub shop. Overall it was a terrible sandwich and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone ever. I don't know why I even went there I normally go to Jersey Mike's but I was in that end of town and I thought what the heck I've never tried it I'll give it a try spoiler alert bad deal!

Phone ordered, went to pickup and sat their 10 mins waiting to get the sandwiches that sat on the counter already made. Got home and discovered the BLT sandwich only had bacon and nothing else. First time their and no other customers, now I know why.

Well if want your sandwiches done wrong and fries cold come here! We ordered three sandwiches and a large fry. My BLT came with ONLY Bread and Bacon, huh? No lettuce, tomato or mayonnaise. The other person Cheesesteak had extra, extra, extra mustard on 1/2 one side of the bread the other 1/2 side no mustard ! ( Not wanting mustard on both sides, just evenly distributed on 1/2 side of bread).The fry's were cold and we left to pick up right after ordering, we came from only 2 miles away. I called to inform the manager, transferred to a women and told Oh ! huh huh sorry we were thinking of asking you if you wanted a BLT yet there was no phone number on the order. The receipt she said shows a minus lettuce, tomato, mayonnaise not a plus next to it. So they already knew about it!! He ordered it and said he ordered it the same way as the other sandwiches, so not sure or not if our error. Yet who orders a BLT with ONLY Bacon . So, what STOPPED them from asking him when when he went to pick up ?! I understand mistakes are made, new people may be being trained yet come on!! No offer of making it right. A good customer attitude and caring mean more then mistakes in a order, yet obviously the customer service is NOT being taught here at this location. Good Luck!

Food is ok. Called and was on hold for 19mins. I was on the way there so I figured just call ahead so the food would be ready while on the way. They left me on hold. Never came back to the phone. I arrived and placed my order in person while still on hold. Thats crazy poor service. Nothing about the food justified poor customer service.

Mediocre food, friendly staff but looked like they didn't wipe tables down ever, swept floors or wiped down anything. We were the only people in the place and seen two employees disappear in the back with no one at counter after we got food. Thinking they took breaks instead of bothering to clean.

Yes. These are the subs to get. You will never want to go to another sub shop. Philly Cheese Steak - better than anything you will get in Philly for the most part. Yes I've had them. Chicken Teriyaki - Perfection for a chicken based sub. Get it with grilled mushrooms and onions. I often get it with the peppers as well. Italian. Really amazing. Get it hot/grilled. I think some get pizza sauce on one or more of the above. Not me, although their other pizza sauce based subs are great. The fries are next level. Five Guys and Fuddruckers do it very well - these are even better. Idaho Potatoes, sea salt and peanut oil. The lake Norman Penn Station is one of my favorites. And super clean. Unfortunately we don't have one yet in Greenville, SC so when I'm traveling I try to stop at one in the Raleigh/Greensboro area, Charlotte, or the one just NE of Atlanta. I've been to Penn Stations in Ohio, WV, NC, GA, and it seems like a few other states. Just great subs. Firehouse and Jersey Mike's aren't bad if there aren't any Penn Stations around, but The Penn Station is next level. "Pro Tip" - ask for one of the plastic to go containers if you plan to eat some of it on the road. Squirt some ketchup in the bottom part and add some fries and half your sub. Fits nicely in the upper dashboard storage well in my F-150............ I only have one criticism but it's a real pet peeve of mine and very few places are doing the right thing in this regard. GET RID OF ALL HIGH FRUCTOSE stuff! I'd like to see one of the "Simply" style or organic ketchups with NO High Fructose Corn Syrup. And of course would prefer Duke's mayo, but can let that last one slide.......

I ride by this place 4-5 times a week. Never stopped in. Stopped in tonight and wasn't satisfied. I went to the bathroom to wash my hands, the toilets had not been cleaned in days and it smelled. Walking from the bathroom around to the line to order, the dining room was a mess and not a soul in there. Two young guys working didn't look my way. Someone should take initiative to clean but I heard the N-bomb dropped several times and 'if win the lottery' tonight .' I should have left but I had a coupon for BOGO. It was not good. Greasy, hardly Andy steak on the Philly. First time, last time. You are in a prime location, take care of your patrons and business will be a lot better.
