“This resturant is suprising good! It's just not what you'd expect in a good way. Outward appearance is a Greek resturant but it's not. Look at the menu and it's covers home town southern classics, Greek, and a wide array of burgers and sandwiches. Now I'm thinking it's too big of a menu to be good. Nope I was wrong again. Majority of what I've order I confirmed was made from scratch in house. Even the chicken both times I ordered that came out perfectly cooked not dry in the slightest. I've ate in and carried out both were fantastic. It's just funny to me how every time I've ate here I'm not expecting anything special just a decent meal and when the food comes out without fail I'm talking about how I'm suprised how good it truely is!Vegetarian options: My girlfriend is a vegetarian and we never have an issue finding a good choice for her here“

“If you haven't been here, you need to go. Amazing food and service. By far the most unique restaurant in Gastonia. It's flavors you have probably never had but you will want again. All I can say is WOW. this is now my favorite place to go for a nice dinner.“

“WOW! My boyfriend and I recently moved into the area and decided to try out sals a few weeks ago. At that time we got a buffalo chicken pizza & a Hawaiian pizza. Today we decided to try them again and got a margarita pizza, Stromboli, and antipasto salad. Our order was QUICKLY finished and tastes absolutely delicious. Sal is very personable and extremely talented in the kitchen. Our favorite pizzeria by far.“

“Family friendly! Love it, we ate here for lunch such a delicious gem! Two children and two adults came back home with two takeout boxes they serve a hefty portion. Love the authentic gyro sandwich fries were crispy and yummy! Pizza sizes are generous, Alfredo pasta was delicious for my little one. Dessert was such a treat! I highly recommend the strawberry cheesecake and baklava was super yummy very authentic! This place is casual but with great foods!“

“Great service and AWESOME food! We live over an hour away, and we are ruined! No one has pizza, calzones, Stromboli, pasta, or salads compared to Lake Wylie Pizza! (I can only gush about what we've had, lol) I'm sure everything else is just as great! The service is great and they're fast! But efficient! Portions are very large, I'm posting pics of family sized calzones, and a Stromboli and Greek salad. Thank you Lake Wylie Pizza for always being great! Love ya'll!“

“I'm going to give this review 5 stars overall because I refuse to let one person ruin something for me. The food was excellent! We had the spaghetti roll, kids' spaghetti with meatballs and the Pappardelle Del Contadino. We called in the order a little before 8pm on Saturday night and were told it would be about 35-40 minutes. The young girl on the phone was great. Upon walking up to the restaurant, we saw that the sign on the door was flipped to closed, but no big deal we had placed a Togo, and it was about 30 minutes until their actual closing time at 9. As we went to grab the door, some guy on the patio that was drinking, smoking cigarettes and talking on the phone yelled "They're closed" I politely paused for a second and replied yes, I know. I'm picking up my Togo. He looked shocked. I'm not sure if this was a bartender/server/manager or cook but it was clearly an employee. There were multiple Togo's that still needed to be picked up inside. Why steer away customers? This was our first visit and won't be the last...but as a service industry person, for a moment it made me feel as if my business wasn't valued. I always believe that as a business if it says you close at 9, it is important to consistently close at 9 so that your customers know your hours...and to serve until the end. Again, the food was outstanding, so I hope this was a one-time occurrence.“

“I never thought that I would say a local Italian restaurant would rival my experiences with restaurants in Italy and Boston’s North End! Yet Marrelli’s does!! On par with my best Italian experiences. Good service. Food that melts in your mouth the way it should. Highly recommend!!!!“
