Honestly this place deserves more business, I used to eat here periodically on my lunch break. The main cook always remembered what I ordered and had it ready in a matter of minutes. Food is delicious and plentiful so you won’t leave wanting more. I would highly recommend the sliders or the brisket grilled cheese!Wheelchair accessibility: Has ramp to front door for wheelchairs.

Overall, the atmosphere has potential, but not the best experience on a Friday night. Was hoping for that traditional feel of walking into a BBQ place (think NC BBQ trail) and Crazy Pig is not there yet. I’ve always judged BBQ as sauce is optional and not needed, but a few misses on the dinner items warranted BBQ sauce. Some details1. Ran out of brisket at 7pm2. Pulled chicken was unfortunately dry3. Pulled pork was missing smokiness and flavor4. Fried pickles and Buffalo rings were good5. Beer and cider options limited based what was stock or tapped6. Wings seasoned, but very dryWheelchair accessibility: tight dinning area and no way for a wheelchair or walker to get through easily

I was really hoping for some good BBQ but ended up so disappointed in the food. Service was minimal, but no major issues. The atmosphere was a bit drab for a Friday night (albeit in Feb). Brisket was just so oily and fatty, no flavor, no bark. Smoked wings tasted fried, also no flavor. Smoked chicken was also oily, no flavor. No smell or taste of smoke in the entire place...so guessing this is all fried or baked? Will not be coming back.

Ate here today and my family were the only people in restaurant. Pulled pork was very dry and I had to soak is BBQ sauce to eat. Mac'n Cheese was just basic Kraft tasting. Sweet tea was decent. If you enjoy good smoked pulled pork, this isn't it.

Disappointed in the reaction I received when I called to inform them an item was left out of my take out order. They questioned me, implying that I was lying. They did agree to refund the item price, but after a week have not do so. Not the way to treat loyal customers...or any customers.

Heard great things but was disappointed. Buffalo Onion Rings were okay- brisket and pulled pork were less than desirable. Both came out stone cold, I would have said something but we were sitting at the bar area and someone only came around every 10-15 minutes so by the time we would have mentioned it I was ready to pay and leave anyways.Hush puppies were pretty flavorless and the Mac and cheese was not good.I was extremely excited about visiting for the first time and subsequently let down by my experience. I won’t be back.*brought it down to one star because I also emailed them and never heard anything

Edit:The issue I have is HOW the cook treated me.I'm nobody. I just tend to believe HOW you treat people matters. What I will remember most about "The Crazy Pig in Davidson" is HOW you made me feel.ORIGINAL:First time in Davidson. Ordered lunch. Had my dog with me. Told the young female cashier/waitress that I WOULD BE OUTSIDE. She told me she would deliver the food to my table. I went to fill up my cup at the drinking fountain. The tall male cook interrupted me while I was filling up my cup at the drink fountain. He asked me a question about my dog being a service animal and then told me I needed to go outside.I told him I WAS heading outside. I was very confused and concerned about how he was talking to a customer. I stopped filling up my cup halfway and went outside. His behavior was rude and completely unnecessary. When the young female cashier/waitress delivered the food to my outdoor table I reported to her about the tall male cook's unwelcoming and rude behavior.Lunch was ruined.

Great food and service! Staff was friendly and professional. The Crazy Pig sandwich had a nice portion of pulled pork - left the restaurant full !

Have been a few times and tried multiple items on the menu and the food is just as wonderful as the service. Great food, good prices, and outstanding customer service. You can't go wrong.

Awesome BBQ in Davidson, love the sides, and the Brisket grilled cheese is amazing. I would like to try some of their other menu items, but just haven't been able to pull the trigger yet
