Incredibly delicious BBQ. Tasty Sides. Unbelievable service. Not being a North Carolina local, I wanted to try some local BBQ. Man did I stop into the right place. I wanted to try everything on the menu but decided on the pork and two sides. After being seated, the owner Tim came and check on my friends and I and after he noticed we all got pork, he brought us out free samples of the brisket, mac n cheese, and the chicken. It was clear that Tim's amazing customer service is a result of his passion for quality BBQ and his 20+ years in the business. He is full of BBQ knowledge that he willingly shares. Needless to say, my friends and I returned the next day and would return on a weekly basis if I were a local. GO HERE.

We found this little place by accident. Man what a great surprise. We had the smoked chicken with Mac and cheese and pork with BBQ beans both are served with crisp perfectly cooked hush puppies. All I can say is just try it. It's so yummy and moist. We had to try the peach cobbler as well. The owners where very personable giving us a sample of the brisket. We will definitely be ordering it next time. Folks don't hesitate!! Support local businesses and enjoy a fantastic meal!! Win, win!!

I have driven by this restaurant many times, and today was the day to grab some take out! I wanted to support a Denver local business, and very happy that I did! They have many different meat plates and a variety of sides. I'd definitely like to try their ribs sometime. My Mac and cheese and beans were delicious! The pork was good too, I had it with the hot BBQ sauce. It was around $15 for the pork plate with 2 sides. You can also get 1 side if you prefer. The meal was also served with hushpuppies, which were really good! Support this local business- you can either take your food to go, or they do have a few sit down tables. I only saw the chef when I visited, looks like he is doing it all (at least during lunch hour).

WOW, super nice lady at the counter handling everything perfectly and the guy in the back was working hard. We had to try this since BBQ is one of Darren’s favorite and boy it did not disappoint!! The price bbq was amazing and we got bbq slaw, baked beans as sides and hush puppies. We used their sweet thick sauce and it was amazing too. The baked beans were thick, not like they just poured out of a can. We loved everything and will be going back soon!! I mentioned that I like mac & cheese and she gave me a little cup to sample, think I will have to add that next time too!! Thanks guys for making us miserable by overeating..lol. See you soon!!

100% GO HERE! Not only is the bbq to die for (my person favorite is the pork) but the customer service here is the best. Tim and Vallary were so nice and welcoming. It was our first time coming here and they gave us a breakdown of the menu and even had us sample a few things to see what we like. They also frequently checked in on us to see if we were enjoying our food. And not just in a customer service way, but in a way that showed that they take pride in their work and they genuinely want to know if their food was up to par. You can tell that if something wasn't right (which if you don't like their food then you must be a monster), they would do everything they could to fix it or even be open to new ideas. Not to mention, the prices were fantastic. They give you your bang for your buck. If you have a bbq craving, this is THE place to go. We will be back again. Thank you Tim and Vallary for the awesome lunch and great experience!

First off, my wife called in an order tonight, and the guy taking the order was rude. She was trying to order French fries with our order and evidently, they don't have fries here. It took her moment to comprehend that they didn't have fries, and that must've upset the person taking the order. Strike one. When she got home with the food, there was no barbecue sauce to be found, so I ate the driest barbecue sandwich I've ever had. Strike two. The Mac and cheese had zero flavor and a bitter after taste and the hush puppies were so dry I about choked on them - strike 3 and 4. I don't know if it was an off night or what, but we will not be going back to fat fork. We spent over $50 on a subpar meal for 2 adults and 2 kids. All I can say is, I can't wait until Denver Smokehouse opens back up!

Wow....hands down the best BBQ I’ve ever eaten in my life. The brisket melts in your mouth and doesn’t even need any sauce or anything, it’s perfect and the pulled pork sandwich was so huge but I had to eat the whole thing it was that good. On top of that those were the best baked beans I’ve ever eaten as well. I’m in a food coma right now and it was completely worth it AND I want more. The owners are awesome people too, just an amazingly run family business!

Not barbecue but a true smokehouse. This restaurant is located in a strip mall and is completely family owned. The service was great and I was impressed by the Mac and cheese which isn't a typical response to any cheesy noodle confection that isn't made by my family. Please check them out and support this local gem. I got the chicken and it was moist and tender and went great with the homemade hot sauce.
