We have been searching for 7 years since we moved to the US for ‘proper’ lasagna and we have found it!The restaurant opened at 4.30pm and when we left every single table was full and I can see why!Service amazing and food was out of this world! We ended with the Tiramisu flight and it was a solid 10!We will be back!

Amazing food and family-friendly atmosphere. As a man coming from an Italian rich background, I have to say that Mattiello's food is second to none when it comes to taste and Italian authenticity! The lasagna is the best one I’ve ever had, highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area.

The food is magnificent. Hard to find such authentic Italian food these days but this does the trick. Very calm environment that brought intimacy and homey vibes to my experience. Would definitely recommend and am still thinking about the lasagna I had.

Overall great experience! Food was absolutely great: hot, fast and fresh. Staff was very kind, you can tell they go above and beyond for customers! Menu had a lot of variety and there are options for everyone. My first time going here and will definitely be back, recommend for everyone.

I've known WIlliam since I met him at his restaurant in NYC. Of the many Italian restaurants in New York, his was my favorite by far. His food is fantastic, made with love, and served in a warm and inviting atmosphere. Always a great time.

I recently had a HORRIBLE experience with a server named Bea. Her attitude was horrible and made my friends and I feel bad, almost like we were bothering her by being there. It’s really a shame as we were really excited to try this restaurant out. The managers seriously need to sort out their staff situation because if ALL your servers are as rude as this one you’re going to lose a LOT of business…Never coming back again.

Had a meal here and it was pretty solid. The vibe was chill, staff were on point, and the food hit the spot. Def worth checking out if you're in the mood for some tasty eats.

Do not waste your money...order Domino's instead! Food was atrocious and server was even worse. The peroxide blonde server must have been the owner's daughter because only family would employ someone that incompetent, rude and inattentive. I've never had such slow service in my life. We waited over an hour for our food, and when it finally arrived, it was cold. The staff seemed overwhelmed and disorganized. I expected a lot more for the amount I paid. We will not be returning!Added photo upon accusation of false review.

Very disappointing experience. To start, she barely acknowledged our existence, opting instead to chat with her fellow servers as if we were invisible. When we finally managed to catch her attention, she responded with an eye roll and a sigh, as if our mere presence was inconveniencing her.As for taking our orders, well, that was a comedy of errors. She managed to mix up every single item, resulting in a table full of dishes we didn't even order. And when we tried to point out her mistake, she brushed us off with a dismissive wave of her hand.In summary, if you enjoy being treated like dirt by a waitress who couldn't care less about her job, then this is the place for you. But if you value even a modicum of respect and professionalism, do yourself a favor and steer clear of this culinary nightmare. You'll thank me later.

Where do I even begin to describe the culinary wonderland that is Mattiello’s This place isn't just a restaurant; it's an experience, a celebration of exquisite flavors, warm hospitality, and genuine love for Italian cuisine. And let's talk about the staff – they're nothing short of extraordinary. Bea, Paxton, and Sebastian are more than just servers; they are so attentive to your every need the hospitality is some of the best i’ve ever seen. Their genuine warmth makes every visit feel like a special occasion. They make you want to come back just to see them! But of course, the real star of the show is the food. Each dish is a masterpiece, lovingly crafted from the finest ingredients and bursting with authentic Italian flavors. This is certainly without a doubt a local favorite for my family and friends without a doubt. I could eat here every day and not ever get tired of it. Having moved away and not being able to come as frequently nothing in my town now compared to Mattiello’s and it’s the first place i want to go when i’m home!In summary, if you're looking for a dining experience that's truly special, look no further than Mattiello’s With its exceptional staff, delectable cuisine, and welcoming ambiance, it's no wonder this place has been a beloved local institution for years. Make sure to pay a visit and see for yourself – you won't be disappointed. The owners also go above and beyond to ensure you have an amazing experience and the owners are Italian as well!

If you live in or around Denver and you have never eaten here you are missing out big time. My wife and I dying here tonight because we could not get into a couple other places we were trying to go. When the food came out my wife and I kept stopping in amazement as we tasted each other's dishes repeatedly because it was so Damm good. The food was so good that we had our server Paxton( who you should ask for when you dine there because he's on his game and he's pretty funny) bring out an order of the mushroom risotto as well as the Truffle parmesan french fries. We had these dishes on top of the penne con pollo and my catfish with saffron polenta encrusted risotto and the calamari..... if we stayed there much longer I was going to start working my way through the lasagnas but I'm saving that for next time. I met the chef on the way out and asked about how he makes such delicious food and his answer was exactly what you would want to hear..... he said he makes it all from scratch except for the gelato. He makes the dough for the pasta by hand. He makes the risotto to order every time. Simple ingredients, clean flavors and a love of cooking..... the chef has all of this in abundance. Make this your next destination for dinner and you will not be disappointed.

came here the other night and we didn’t even get to eat. we sat at the host stand for 10 minutes while 5 employees walked by and made eye contact with us and said absolutely nothing. so after standing there looking dumb for 10 minutes we walked out and someone finally said something!!! they said “have a good night” it was bizarre and i was starving. to not even acknowledge someone that’s standing at your host stand….the quality and service of restaurants all around is so terrible anymore. it takes 3 seconds to say “i’ll be with you in a minute”
