I have never been to the Silver Grill but I want to write a review on the owner, who I believe is named Joe. I was at a gas station in Huntersville NC 6 years ago, where I literally had to pay for gas with change IN PENNIES to get a little bit of gas, maybe $1.50... I was struggling and had to do what I had to do. My wife was pregnant with our now 5 year old. I paid in pennies, counting them forever and holding up the line. After getting to the pump, the man that was behind me in line walked out and told me, "I've been where you are, fill your tank and come by the Silver Grill in Denver, which I own, and I will give you and your wife a free meal, just pay it forward." I feel horrible for never going there and thanking this man. I moved out of state shortly after, but I am back in NC and have never forgotten this moment. I am forever grateful to this man who I've never had a real opportunity to thank. If you ever read this, know that what you did has stuck with me forever. Thank you.

Great food and service. I tried to eat all of the double cheeseburger but it was huge! I left full and happy. We will be going back. Finally got to try the breakfast 3-4-22 and it was also awesome.

Food and service, absolutely excellent. Called in a take out and was late picking up. I would have gladly taken the now cold order but the server insisted on replacing the eggs and toast. The food and grits were the best ever. I watched the cook fix eggs in the iron skillet over open flames, just like my grandmother would. And the grits were the best l can remember. Will definitely recommend this place!

It was busy...but services friendly, by the time we got our breakfast it was cold or not cooked properly. I will question my next visit there if at all..sorry I'm sure it's probably a pretty popular spot...Not the morning I was there.. Best a 2 star... Food quality.

First Margo was one of the best waitress ever!!!! Loved the Philly cheesesteak and the special (secret) sauce was like a kicked up thousand island! All the breakfast food was perfect. The staff is outstanding. Makes me know the owner is a great guy who really cares.

It's easy to tell a good restaurant in an area that you've never been in, because the locals go there, and it's a busy place. We had to wait about 10 minutes for a table, but I had the Philly steak and my friend a grilled chicken salad, both were very delicious good size portions to. Definitely would recommend going here, and next time I'm in the Lake Norman area in Denver North Carolina, I will go there again

First time eating here while we were waiting on our dog at Denver Animal Emergency. An absolute must stop to eat. Hospitality and friendliness was top notch. The food was very good and worth the money. Stop in and enjoy!

Found this gem while traveling through town. Wanted a homey type place with real food. Got to admit.... Was well worth it. Would definitely come back when in town. I got the sausage biscuit Benedict..... Extremely apprehensive at first, not a Benedict fan. But I must admit, wow, it was amazing.
