Very pretty location in the Shelton Winery offering relaxed dining. The menu isn't the largest and the prices are a bit on the high side for Yadkin Valley, but it's still a value since the portions are well-prepared, tasteful, and generous. We had the salmon and the Angus filet; both were terrific. Not a place for a quick meal, but if you are looking for a friendly, semi-elegant and restful place to enjoy an adult meal, this is your kind of place.

Wow, another great dinner at the Harvest Grill. I had the nightly special — short ribs and lamb in a cottage pie, topped with puffed pastry. My husband had a beautiful pork ribeye with sweet potato risotto. Our server, Brooklyn, was top notch. And… tonight was 1/2 price wine night! It doesn’t get any better than this!

We arrived for our reservation at 11.30. To be clear, our server was lovely and did a fantastic job. The setting is beautiful - and that never changes. But there were a couple of things that I was disappointed by: 1. We were given a wine menu, then told we couldn't actually order from it (not till noon) so why provide it? 2. We both ordered the 'eggs any style' - I ordered scrambled eggs, and if there was more than one egg in that order, I'd have been surprised. 3. Toast - please, please, please don't serve cold toast. No butter was provided, nor preserves. My food was $18!! All in all, a little disappointed in the food itself and the price.

Hard to be a “5”. Enjoyable dinner. The wine is better and better at Shelton. My meal was great. I would have it again and soon. Dessert is something not on the menu, but what I had was terrific. Service was OK. A little polish on a few quibbles would be good. Annual visit, so will be back next Year.

Fantastic service in a beautiful facility overlooking well manicured grounds. The chef is very skilled, and the chicken capellini and cornbread crusted trout were outstanding. You can walk to the winery for a tasting.

My wife, son, daughter-in-law and I had a wonderful meal at harvest grill. The appetizers, including the seafood rangoon and sushi were delicious. We all had the red snapper special which was very good. We will return.

We were looking forward to returning to Harvest Grill for our anniversary which is on New Years Eve. The setting is lovely and the staff very attentive. Unfortunately our actual dining experience was disappointing. We were not aware that the dinner for the evening was pre-fixed which not only limited our options but forced us to have 4 courses which is way too much food. The first 3 dishes were barely warm, with some items being cool, like the black eye peas on the first dish. The bread lacked seasoning. When our main was served, prime rib, it was room temperature and over cooked. The server took the dish back to the kitchen and brought it back, even more over cooked and not much warmer. And it was the toughest prime rib I’ve ever had. The sides were lack luster. Overall the meal was obviously massed produced and plated in advance which allowed the kitchen to push out meals quickly. We were served our 4 courses, even the returned dish, within the first hour. This was not the relaxed, special meal we had previously experienced at this restaurant. We may try Harvest Grill again but it won’t be for a special occasion nor on a holiday.

When we arrived, the hostess, asked if we had a reservation, and we did not but somehow she found us a table inside. They were not that busy, but I am guessing somewhat understaffed as most places are now. We ate here because of convenience to our hotel, but the food was very expensive and not great quality. The server was good but we were looking for light fair and good wine and neither is to be had here. I gave a 2 as my rating, but it was mostly due to the server.

We have eaten here before and loved it and were not disappointed this time. Lovely setting Had strawberry salad with goat cheese and split it. Then split crab cakes over fried collards with sautéed spinach and they were delicious with lots of crabmeat. Had a bottle of unoaked Chardonnay for $22 and it was great. Highly recommend this place.
My husband and I visited the Shelton Vineyards for our 16th anniversary on 6/4/22. We absolutely loved our experience at the Winery. My husband and I are vegetarian/vegan. Needless to say, it is very difficult to find variety on most menus due to our dietary restrictions. We asked our server if there were any vegetarian options off the menu. She spoke with the chef and came back to ask if there were any vegetables that we didn't prefer. About 30 mins later, the chef came to our table with the most exquisite vegan platter. We were beyond impressed. It didn't stop there. The chef came by our table second time to personally ask if we were enjoying our meals. We were impressed by the presentation and the personal care that was taken to ensure we were satisfied. We will definitely be back. Thank you for making our anniversary meal so special.

Atmosphere and service were good but food was very average. We were with my parents, who have been before and spoke very highly of it and even they were disappointed. Steaks were over cooked and crab cakes (which I normally wouldn't order in the mountains but they were recommended) were overly fried. We loved Shelton Winery and highly recommend a visit but we'd skip the restaurant next time.
