Obsessed with their ramen and whisky cocktails! Ambience is peaceful, staff is cool, calm and collected. Usually they are able to fit us in within moments of arriving, which is a plus, despite the fact that most seats are filled (they have great bar-seating). Go wild with the small plates before diving into a steaming bowl of ramen! Enjoy the delicious olive-oil infused cake for dessert; the perfect balance of sweet and savory.

This was fine! There are a lot of fun things on the menu. (Lots of cool meats and seafood especially). And the flavor of the food was good! I would love bigger portions, though. I like how there is a downstairs space and an upstairs space. And I'm good with the fact that it's kind of random which one you get. But I didn't think the two spaces were that different? I wish they were a little more unique. The service was probably the best part!

The Tonkotsu ramen was okay because of the broth but the pork and eggs were pretty good. I think this place is better suited for their small plate apps.

The service was abysmal - the staff was rude: "I only have two hands" and "Only ask stuff from me or it gets confusing."We were the only diners at this point - not sure how things were that confusing. The ambience was uninviting and we felt like a burden to the staff. The tempura was burnt, but the potato inside of it was raw. The cauliflower dish was soggy and the veg ramen was one dimensional.Overall 2/10 experienceIt was ridiculously expensive for what it was.

The drinks were pretty good, as was the edamame and dumplings. We got two different ramen dishes and both agreed they were overly salty and bland. The small restaurant gets quite loud, and it was hard to hear the person sitting directly across from me. Would not come back.

Overpriced and very disappointing taste wise. We ordered Ramen and Takoyaki inspired appetizer. The appetizer was mockery in the name of Takoyaki. Ramen was very mediocre.

I’ve heard mixed reviews —Not worth the price unfortunately. For $17-$19, I expected well-flavored ramen, and delicious appetizers. The pork belly is roasted, not fried so it’s very chewy and unpleasant. The wings are smothered in an overwhelming Asian-like BBQ sauce. There was a house-made pineapple ginger ale, but it was $5, full of ice from bottom to brim, and tasted like water within 5 minutes. The menu takes on a southern fusion, but it feels strange.I think they’re trying, but if they took maybe $5 to $7 off each of their menu items, it could be worth it.Feels fairly comparable to other medium-scale Asian restaurants in Durham. But for the prices, I’d head to JuJu for a more satisfying meal.Service was great though, but wanted to love it!

Great food but the atmosphere is what makes this place stand out! We will be back.

The broth is all salt, no savory or spicy flavor. The other ingredients seem nice, but the broth totally ruined it. Way too salty. My lips are burning from it and I only ate a little.

We went here for a late dinner on a Friday night with 4 people. We didn’t have a reservation but they were able to seat us in 20 minutes! The highlight for me was the Korean buffalo cauliflower! Small restaurant but great service and an overall enjoyable experience!Vegetarian options: They have one vegetarian ramen and some options for sides and apps.Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is on one level but the entry is very narrow

I loveeee dashi! It’s my favorite ramen place. The tonkotsu is PERFECT, and I don’t say that lightly. Delicious creamy broth, sour and zesty pickled onions, savory mustard greens, umami ramen eggs ? and of course the most delicious fatty pork! I get it with hot sauce too! I love coming here with friends, dates, or just for a pick-me-up.They have rotating kombucha on tap and each flavor I’ve tried has been a delight! The staff are also always super friendly, especially the bar staff! I love chatting with them when they’re not busy!

I was from San Diego where we have a lot of famous ramen restaurants. Went here because of high reviews. Ordered Tonkotsu ramen really disappointed, noodles overcooked, the broth is not right.
