Food was meh. Potato's were hard. Nothing delicious. Expensive to get bland food. Disorganized. Poor system. IDK why it's so

Omg, best country breakfast ever! Very low key place with homemade everything. I had the Grits bowl with eggs, black beans, and salsa over yellow grits, otherwise known as polenta. Yum! Big slab of homemade country sausage, double yum! Hubby had the herb biscuit with eggs and country sausage. The biscuits are HUGE, soft, and flaky. Delish! We bought a bag of 4 for $6 to take home for another day. I'd love to go back and try their lunch menu-also looked good. The restaurant is humble and homey. Tip- You order inside at the counter, pay at the register, and then they bring your order to your table. Plenty of parking and a large outdoor patio for those with their furry friends. Highly recommend!

The guy taking my order seemed impatient. It was after 1pm on a Friday and there was no one behind us.Breakfast order the over medium eggs were over cooked, the biscuit was hard and cold, the potatoes were cold with too much Italian seasoning, but the bacon was really good. His Cubano sandwich with a side of Red Potato Salad was delicious!Self serve drinks they do NOT have Sweet iced tea. You can add syrup but it just wasn’t good. His sandwich was brought out first. Halfway done, my breakfast arrived. I asked the second guy if there was any jelly? He just swung his arm behind him, “over there”.I get up and can’t find any except for jars of jelly. “I guess they want us to buy that”, I thought. Husband looked and several minutes later, found some packets. After eating, you take the ticket to the cash stand up front. The lady was standing near the second register and pointed to the first register. No “how was your meal?” “Was everything alright?” She didn’t even smile. While the receipt wasn’t broken down, the total with tax was about $37.00.Since I’ve wanted to eat here for awhile, I was disappointed in the food and the staff. It’s also over priced. If we come back, will just get a sandwich and a coke.Parking: Gravel parking lot, lots of spaces. Some holes and ditches to watch out for while waking or driving.

Just wanted to leave a review on a recent catering order. We had ordered several items for a reception and they were amazing. Shout out for the sheet cake. It was enormous. We got German Chocolate and it was so delicious and could easily have fed 80 people. It is way bigger than what I thought. We also loved the french toast casserole. We got two large Southern Platters and the pimento cheese was my favorite. Everything we ordered was great and again the amount of estimated servings was very very generous. That cake is worth every penny.

I started ordering Foster Family Dinners which has been so good for my family! We love the meals. We messed up our order one week and they still were able to get us the food we needed. I just really appreciated that and want everyone to know this is an amazing place with excellent service.

My eggs were runny and they shouldn't have been. And my grits were not as hot as they should have been. Just saying

Such a great market! I’ve had the best food and coffee from here and every time I visit the workers are so friendly. I have a pretty severe dairy allergy and when I mentioned this to one of the workers taking my coffee order, he made sure to change out/clean all pieces of equipment that was cross contaminated with milk (I didn’t even have to ask). This was so kind and not something that is typically taken seriously when I mention it at other places. I am so appreciative of this employee. Highly recommend visiting this place!Dietary restrictions: Dairy allergy that was taken seriously

This place has a quaint atmosphere of an old-time country-store. The food is good, fresh, and the proportions are plentiful. Unfortunately, the menu is pretty limited if you have allergies, and they often can't omit items. Service is great. This is a wonderful place to bring an out of town visitor for a quality meal with a good vibe.

A staple in Durham! Really always a delight to visit Fosters, the food is always good! Really nice selection of sandwiches or hot meal special for the day, and great desserts too. Funky comfortable atmosphere. A lot of seating outside (inside seating too). Easy to do take-out as well if preferred.

I absolutely love foster’s! There’s not a ton of places with similar vibes to my favorite outdoor restaurants in Arizona, but this one does it. I love the market / restaurant combo and they have soooo many options for food and other cute things to take home. Everyone is also always super

Stopped in for lunch...it was very busy, but the line moved rapidly and the order came out pretty quickly. I chose the Chicken Ceasar BLT..should have held the B..the rest was delicious! It is also a quaint little shop with select items and wines great for gifts.

I've been here for lunch and it was just ok for me. Went for breakfast and enjoyed it immensely. While lunch is crowded and chaotic, breakfast is much more enjoyable. Will be back.

Foster's is a restaurant & craft market with a deli style cold salad counter. They have convenient grab n go containers of deli things as well as coffee and smoothies.I ordered a chorizo breakfast burrito for about $8. It was a pretty solid price for the meal but even with the salsa, the burrito was dry, bland, and stuffed with cold potatoes. Underwhelming. My girlfriend really enjoyed her toasted breakfast sandwich though! The parking lot was an absolute nightmare both entering/exiting. Probably not at the will of the restaurant, mostly tourist chaos.
