Wide range of Asian food.Edit: Original owner sold the restaurant. It has gone downhill since then. The floors inside are so sticky that they will pull your shoes off as you walk to the counter. The fryer oil is in bad shape and makes the food taste like pig sweat. Yuck! The sushi is gas station grade at best, don’t bother, there is no longer a sushi chef. Just get your greasy “Asian” food somewhere else even if it costs a couple more dollars. So sad to see a good restaurant go downhill so fast like this.

So I got three different plates of sushi and my wife got beef hibachi.We got the spicy tuna roll which was incredibly bland. The spider roll was nothing to write home about especially for the price but it was probably one of the better dishes. The volcano roll was awful and I mean awful. It doesn't look anything like a traditional volcano roll and it just tastes so bad.My wife thought the hibachi was mid-tier especially for the price.The ingredients and flavor used in the sushi was very basic and probably the worst sushi I've had in Durham flavor wise.The service was all right but pretty confusing. You go up to the counter to order but it's not clear how you receive your drinks and if you're supposed to leave a tip or not. The staff doesn't seem to take much pride in what they are doing and aren't very knowledgeable in the food that they're putting out.The atmosphere is quite bad the restaurant has a stale kind of smell to it. The floor was incredibly sticky it just didn't seem very clean.We will never be returning to this restaurant, there are plenty of other places that taste far better far around the same price with far more knowledgeable staff and a much cleaner atmosphere!

pad thai flavor was so bad and spice level 1 was incredibly spicy. clear soup and sushi were mediocre for the price. only positive would have been the generous portion of the pad thai if it didn’t taste like garbage. i wouldn’t order from here again.

The menu includes a wide variety of dishes so you’re guaranteed to find something you’ll like.The service is always great as well.Koumi is my go to spot for stir fry, soup, sushi or rolls.It’s the best restaurant in the area.

Ordered drunken noodles with chicken and it had no chicken…… only noodles and egg. I paid $16!

The lady at the register told me my total was $44. I had $60 in twenties in my wallet. I handed her $60. My daughter even said, it's not usually that expensive. She handed me back $6. I said wait you told me it was $44. You owe me $14. She said no I told you $34. I said that's even worse, I gave you $60 Clear as day because I counted it as I handed it to you. She said no you didnt you have me $40. I asked the manager to look at the cameras and she did nothing except argue back and repeating what the other lady said. They wouldn't even give me a receipt. I came super close to calling the cops. Just for the fact that she bluntly took money from me and didn't even offer to look. I will not be back to this place anymore. It's a shame to because the food is good. Too bad their integrity isn't.
