Out of all the coffee ice cream I have tried, La Monarcha has the best coffee ice cream that is sweet and has the bitterness of coffee. It is the perfect balance and what makes it even better are the pieces of pecans. Awesome local ice cream shop! Super friendly and patience staff who gladly offered mini spoons to try their unique flavors. My wife and I settled on Egg Nog and Caramel flavors, both were rich in taste and very smooth in texture. We will be back!!!

My hubby and I went for some ice cream around 3:30 pm. We both had ice cream in a cone. He got a scoop of coconut and I got a scoop of coconut and a scoop of caramel. The service was slow but it looked like they were in the process of training as well as being short staffed. The ice cream had coconut in it but it was salty so you couldn't taste the coconut flavor. The caramel was salty but you can taste the flavor. We were both disappointed ?. I don't know if they switched companies but I will not be buying ice cream from there again; especially not for $13

We stopped by on a Saturday for popsicles (mixed fruit, cotton candy, and mango chile) and mangonada. They offer numerous options so it took us a while to decide on what we wanted. The employees were patient and assisted us in finding what we were looking for. Many of the items are made with fresh fruit and are packed with flavor. I especially enjoyed the mangonada. It had an ideal balance of fresh mangos, sorbet, chamoy, and chili powder. Overall, we had a good experience here and recommend this ice cream shop to others!
