The only problem I have with this place is I wasn't hungry enough to order everything. It all looks amazing! Octopus was perfect. Scallop with gnocchi was the star. Service is great and not pushy which means so much to us. Drinks also on point, wish I had time for dessert. Maybe next time!!

Everything was delightful — but the carrot cavetelli stole the show ?? great selection of NA drinks too! I will be back!

Excellent experience. The food was absolutely delicious. Each dish was just perfect. I couldn't even the slightest fault. Wine list and cocktails were fantastic. Service was impeccable. Littler has been in our regular rotation for years.

Hope to try it. I hear it is exceptional. Everything was "On Point," according to my acquaintance. (His rating.)

Mandatory tipping is an oxymoron and pure absurdity.

Came here for a birthday dinner. Food: beware the portions are very small. Tapas style dishes. The food itself is delicious and very thoughtfully prepared as are the drinks. Ambiance: it's a small place. Gives date night vibe and a more upscale feel. The seats are very close together though giving very little chance for privacy. And tables are a bit small for all the plates you end up ordering. But it is appealing and great if you are trying to impress a date. Service: very helpful and informative. I guess because of the upscale vibe they are going with I wouldn't say they are friendly but definitely attentive to the point of hovering a bit. They clear plates as soon as they think you are finished and continuously check to make sure everything is fine maybe a little too much. The couple next to us had their drinks explained to them by the bartender... not sure what you have to do to get that service. We did eat enough of the menu to say everything on the menu is probably amazing and ordered enough to feel satisfied but it came at a pretty penny as the dishes are pricy for the amount of food you get.

My husband and I went here for the first time last weekend and absolutely loved it. It is expensive, so be prepared to spend but the cocktails and food were absolutely worth it.P.S. On the cocktail menu, there is an option to do "Mercy of the bartender" (basically bartender's choice) - I highly recommend you choose this option. The bartender was fantastic and was spot-on with both my husband and I's drinks!

On their website it says "Littler – like all LITTLEJACKTORO restaurants – will include a 20% living wage service fee on the guests’ bill."Really??? Are you serious???? You're forcing your customers to leave a 20% tip (what you're calling a "living wage service fee")??? How is this even legal? Pretty arrogant for you to tell your customers what they're going to tip. Here's a crazy idea. How about paying your employees a "living wage"? Customers coming to your restaurant and paying for a meal "should" be enough for you to pay your employees a living wage. This is shameful.I'd rather you raise your prices a little and pay your employees better than pull a stunt like this. We will definitely NOT be coming to your restaurant. I'm sure you've lost a lot of business pulling this stunt.

Interesting and unusual dinners and smaller plates. Great for sharing. Service is excellent and unobtrusive. Small and intimate, but noise level makes conversation difficult.Vegetarian options: One main available and several smaller items..Overall more than adequate for vegetarians.

The only thing better than the MasterChef who prepares your exquisitely delicious food is the incredible service. Be sure and try something completely different. There are only about 40 seats in this place so be sure and make reservations. If you cannot get a reservation, it will be worth the wait. There are a few seats at the bar.

Second time visiting Littler, and I think this is my favorite restaurant in Durham. Yes, it's definitely more expensive- for two people- a little over $200 on two cocktails each, two appetizers and two entrees. Plates are super small but delectable taste and presentation. I would say this type of food is a step above and would be considered fine dining. Cocktails and wine are also fantastic. Restaurant is teeny tiny but absolutely precious and tastefully decorated. Service is also top notch. Littler is such a great vibe and major treat- we recommend!
