These guys are so cool! Not only do they let dogs in, I feel like the workers here legimately want to get to know you and find you a good bottle of wine. My group accidentally stayed a little past their closing time (sorry!) and they were so chill about it and even chatted us up for the last little bit.
I love LouElla’s. They are my go-to for discovering new exciting bottles. And the staff are very helpful in guiding you to something new that suits your taste. The free wine tastings are a staple, and I’d highly recommend going. The atmosphere is definitely slightly more upscale than a standard bar, but I quite enjoy that. My only quip is that the snacks are a bit pricey for the size you get. But I don’t really go there for the food, so I’m quite unfazed. The folks at LouElla have a put together a wonderful experience for wine lovers of any interest/ knowledge level, and a community has formed around that in a special way. Customer service here is really bad. The prices here are too high for the type of atmosphere and environment it provides. Louella is really a cheap put together place that is overpriced. I would recommend spending your money at a different place that would provide you with better customer service as their employees are super rude. The saying - you get what you pay for - does not apply here. Unless you are into rudeness.
