One of my best places in Durham - good food at a reasonable price, and the best beers are here!

One of my faves in Durham! Love the vibe and the masala poutine is phenomenal. I order it every time without fail.

5 Star only because of the service and attitude we received from the staff. Also, the Geerhouse is lame af for blocking out the sun like they are a ancient Persian army.

I'm new in town and was really excited to try this place for the variety of food. I came in 2/23/24 around 4pm with my boyfriend and we weren't greeted by the two employees at the bar. We grabbed menus and sat down at a table near the bar. There was only 2 other tables there, a man, and a group. We went 10-15 minutes with no acknowledgement or service at all, not even waters, or a "Hey, I'll be right with you." One of the employees was running around and the other was at the bar the entire 10 minutes. We decided to just leave and only upon leaving did we receive any acknowledgment. We left disappointed , I've never waited that long for any service BEFORE the food.

Great outdoor atmosphere and good service. Good selection of food and drinks. Always enjoy a business who rehabs an old garage as they have a lot of character. Be aware that parking has been limited the past couple years due to the new construction in the area.

Overall Rating: 5.5/10The laid-back and unique atmosphere enhanced the dining experience, making up for food that was good but not exceptional.Atmosphere / Service: 6.9/10The building is very unique, both inside and out. There's variety in seating with different styles, an upstairs area, and a pleasant outdoor section. The self-service model allows for an uninterrupted meal and experience.Food:Cheeseburger Sliders: 5.2/10The sliders were decent. The meat was tasty, but the buns were too big and not as good as it could of been. One of the bites was full of bun and left a bad taste.Water - 9.1 - Yes, water made the review. complementary self-serve water. The container was neat and added to the overall atmosphere, however the water was FREEZING COLD. Coldest non iced water one could have. KUDOS!Beer Battered Cheese Curds: 4.2/10While these were cooked perfectly, the flavor didn't suit my taste and left an unpleasant aftertaste. Even the sauce didn't help.Bulgogi Taco: 6.2/10The menu has some interesting Korean options. The Bulgogi Taco could pass for something from an authentic Korean restaurant, which was a nice surprise. However, it's a unique choice that might not appeal to everyone.Value: The pricing seems fair - $4 for a slider and $8 for the Bulgogi Taco is reasonable for the quality provided, especially compared to other places.Extra Note: The menu could use some clarification on some of the sauces. Names like "Mole Sauce" or "Motor Oil" sauce are intriguing but not self-explanatory. Without a waitress to ask, diners might not understand what they're ordering.Vegetarian options: The menu says what is vegan

I don’t really love their drinks, but food and atmosphere is great. Easy place to sit outside and snack and grab a drink when the weather is good. Usually a good crowd of people to make it lively and fun.

Gratitiy fee and service fees for pick up of like over 12 bucks. Hard pass. Never again.

A solid bar attached to Motorco. Most of the seating is outdoor picnic tables, which makes it pretty good for a crowd. I always order beer, which is priced at wonderfully low prices. You could also order your G&T's and such, but don't think it's a cocktail bar.

The place has a great vibe and friendly staff. Everything we tried was tasty. The only thing to note is that the price-to-portion ratio was not always obvious. For some items, it felt like we got pub portions, while for others, fine dining portions.

My husband and I order late night to-go food from here very frequently (multiple times a month) and it's always such a gamble if you will receive all of your food or if it will even be cooked fully. I tried to keep giving them chances because the actual dishes are quite unique for late night fare. Tonight was my last straw. I ordered two orders of empanadas and only received one. This is like the 3rd or 4th time this has happened with my order and I'm fed up with it. There's no real customer service because calling and emailing goes completely ignored. The food is not cheap enough to keep getting ripped off like this. I also REALLY hate how bloody and raw they serve their tuna sliders even when you request them not to be rare. I'm over the drastic inconsistency at parts & labor and definitely wouldn't recommend them to anyone else
