Neo China has been our favorite restaurant for years before Covid. After Covid we would go and pick up food even though we live in N. Durham because they were worth it. Finally the day came where we could go dine in again. A couple of the changes they have made we are not fond of. We miss the pot of hot tea that we could share. Now they serve canned soft drinks. My daughter and I went today for lunch and they were busy but our waiter apologized for our wait (at least 10 mins)took our order . He acted like he wanted to be anywhere but there. Finally a guy came in to work saw us and came over to see if we had been helped. Told him yes but it would be nice to get our drinks so he jumped on it. A lady sitting a couple of tables away and who had gotten there before us asked him to check on her order and he did. My daughter told me that there was another lady at a table and she drank het water and left. Can't say I blame her. Was thankful today that I had some cash because the young man that jumped in and got us our drinks, silverware and soup got a nice tip. We will go back because we genuinely think they are worth it.

I wanted to try a new restaurant because General Tso is my favorite dish. Well, it was a disappointment. I had so many pieces of broccoli and the chicken was tasteless. The only thing I enjoyed is the bit of heat from the sauce. Unfortunately, I will not be eating from this restaurant again.

Order from grub hub.The chicken wings were amazing (spicy) they were not really spicy though, more so sweet. The rice was dry (fried rice). The biggest complaint I have is with the sesame seed chicken. It was more Broccoli than chicken.

The broth is thick and flavorful not too spicy and they give u a big bag of wonton strips can't go wrongOne day I may try something else on the menu but this hits the spot Everytime

We've been eating here for 25 years. That says it all. Great, honest, fresh food every time. Not heavy sauces. Good service.

I've lived in the area for almost 20 years and I can't believe I've never been to this place before. Looking forward to going back. The food was great. And the restaurant was really nice inside.

Ordered Takeout…general tso chicken and sesame chicken - food was almost inedible. Chicken chunks were hard. The only tasty thing we had were the crab Rangoons - but they forgot to give us the accompanying sauce.

I really hate to leave a negative review, but this was so bad I just had to. I'm not sure what happened, but the food was just terrible. It really had no flavor at all. I got an egg roll and lo mein. I probably will never order from here again, and I suggest you don't either. They also didn't send any condiments - no soy sauce, no duck sauce, no chopsticks, no utensils of any kind, no napkins. I will say that the food was hot when I received it, however. Of course, what does that matter when it doesn't taste good.

Love this place / service is great - but the need to open up / won't continue to patronize if the do not open to public

Good solid Chinese food in a pleasant setting with reasonably attentive service. My Kung pao chicken was not very spicy and tasted remarkably similar to husband's cashew chicken. They both tasted good - I just like there to be differentiation between dishes. This place has been around forever for 30+ years. The restrooms need renovation but the other decor looks good.

Visiting from Richmond Va for the rival UNC v Duke Game. I am committed to trying Chinese in every city we visit. I found this place online because they are open past 8 and that’s what we needed. When I called the sweetest lady answered the phone and took my order (with special instructions) with the sweetest demeanor. When I came in to pick up she was there to take my payment as well. Very sweet lady! My food was decently priced for the amount of food that I received. The chicken and broccoli was SO flavorful, and it was REAL chicken breast. The broccoli was fresh and cooked to perfection. The house fried rice I ordered was AMAZINGLY flavorful and had the old school square pork pieces. I put leftovers in the fridge and the rice warmed up perfectly and was NOT crunchy like normal rice usually gets.If I could give 10 stars I would!!Thank you for giving me the best Chinese American experience I’ve had in a long time and I will be back for food to take home before we hit the road back home!!! Wish I would have taken pics. (Will update with pics once I get my next meal, TOMORROW)
