Honestly I’m not sure what the good reviews are all about. Have you not been to a good sports bar? Service is slow. Pizza at the buffet is barely 3 stars but at least it’s good at throwing random foods together in a pie. That’s if there is pizza there.The vibe is more for a rowdy dinner sports crowd, not family or midday in my opinion.There are better options in pizza, service, and food in the RTP area. The whole establishment looks like it’s done on the cheap to maximize profits - from dishes, to booths, to “the patio”, to the food.

Came in on a road trip, This bar & food did NOT disappoint!EXCELLENT food, amazing staff, wonderful owner. So good, that we went back the next day for lunch as well.The quesadilla was amazing.The Burrito was a 2 meal eat! Incredible.Drink specials are awesome.Do yourself a favor and go to Rookies, you'll be glad you did!

It is a hidden Gem near my Hotel and I wish I had found Rookies sooner! But the food is great, the beer is cold and the people (staff and guests) are all really nice! I have been back many times now and always looking forward to it! ??

Stopped in while traveling and couldn't get anyone to serve me. I sat at the bar trying to get the bartenders attention for 10 to 15 minutes. They literally looked at me and walked off. It was on a Tuesday... they weren't busy.
