Atmosphere and service were great for a seafood spot. Lots of options. Boils, fried seafood, poboys, raw oysters, steamed and grilled. The flavors are all there and I enjoyed the food but I did have one issue. The shrimp weren't cleaned and I had to clean the poop out of each shrimp but after that it was good for what it was. This is why fried shrimp are a gamble..a lot of places won't clean the waste line from shrimp. Maybe others enjoy the flavor, but I do not.

To be clear, I'm only reviewing the food and specifically . I ordered fish and chips and while the fish was ok,two fillets of whitefish , it wasn't a big hunken slab of cod like I'm used to. It came with a small order of fries and a single small serving of tartar sauce. I was left underwhelmed and still hungry. I would have ordered more food but it was right before closing and I don't like to do that too the back of house staff.Now I do plan on going back and trying the oysters, shrimp, lowcountry boil, etc which looked great when brought to other tables. But I would say, avoid fish and chips here.The staff was friendly, only one waitress, who was new to SSOB, but obviously experienced. She was on top of her game and it made the experience much better.

We're here are least three times a month, the food is amazingly fresh and the staff remembers your name...if you're looking for an experience and not just a meal, stop on by!
1st time at this location. Food was ok. My wife had fish tacos and I had fish and chips. It was pricey. Also had clam chadder which was very good. Waitresses is very good. She was the only server working.Parking: Ok
