The food was delicious and everyone that attended our wedding raved about the food! They were also willing to help us make a specialty wine (German Mulled Wine) for our bar services.

My experience with Southern Harvest was wonderful!We hired them to cater and bartend our wedding in Nov 2023 and everything exceeded our expectations. Working with Rachelle was easy and seamless. She was friendly and provided great feedback. I didn't get to try any of our appetizers during cocktail hour but our guests said they were all delicious. Our dinner was also wonderful. The bartenders were amazing, friendly, and accommodating. I provided the kitchen staff with to-go boxes and they packed up our leftover cake, dessert and food which we took home (a huge relief since those days after the wedding are so exhausting and you don't want to grocery shop or cook!). It was so nice not having to think about renting silverware, plates, glasses, wait staff, etc. They included EVERYTHING. If I had another event, I would definitely hire them again.

Extremely Disappointing ExperienceI recently had an extremely frustrating experience with Southern Hospitality catering service. We were in need of catering for a significant event at the High Point Furniture Market, and I had high hopes when I initially contacted them.From the beginning of our conversation, I provided Southern Hospitality with all the necessary details and explained our requirements thoroughly. We engaged in numerous back-and-forth email communications to finalize all the menus for our five-day event. Everything seemed to be on track.However, just one day before our event, Southern Hospitality abruptly canceled our catering service, citing issues with the location. I was baffled by this turn of events because I had provided them with the location details, including the zip code, in our email communications from the outset. This last-minute cancellation left us in an incredibly challenging situation, as we had to scramble to find a replacement catering service on extremely short notice.In summary, my experience with Southern Hospitality was marked by unprofessional behavior and a significant lack of reliability, culminating in a last-minute cancellation that greatly inconvenienced us. I hope this review serves as a warning to others seeking catering services for important events.

Southern Harvest catered and did bar service for our wedding and they were great! Rachelle was extremely communicative and kind and responded so quickly to emails which made planning so much easier. The staff was SO thoughtful! I'm vegetarian and they made sure to ask about all of my dietary preferences which was so nice of them! We & our guests really enjoyed the food, with the balsamic heirloom tomato roasted baguette, roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, and rolls being the stand out. The people working the bar were also super friendly! A lot of our guests complimented them after our wedding and they made sure we got any extra drinks we wanted after the reception ended! We hosted a holiday party at our home last week and they prepared an amazing four course menu with wine pairings. Food was delicious and service was great. Southern Harvest took care of everything from developing the menu, procuring all the food and wine, setting up, cooking, serving and cleaning up at the end. Professional staff and service. I have used Southern Harvest for 4 (or 5?) events now and they do a wonderful job each time. The team is always prompt with responses during planning and delivery. This weekend I asked for a catered dinner for a staff Christmas party with only a week and a half notice and they were ready and available. Everything I've gotten has been delicious and they do a great job accommodating GF/DF/V options and labeling dishes on a line. I love working with Southern Harvest whenever I have an event needing catering.

They were super helpful with walking us through their menu and getting a quick quote so that we could be booked for our date. At the wedding, our guests could not stop raving not only about the food, but the service of Southern Harvest! The plated meal added such a nice touch to our ceremony and we could not have done it without their help. Would most definitely recommend!
