Excellent all around. Food was delicious! The waiter Brandon was absolutely fantastic. He was the best!! I am so glad that we came here to eat while visiting Durham. If you are here for a visit you need to stop here to eat!! Atmosphere also awesome. If I could give 10 stars I would!

We never received our appetizer. Beef filet was just okay. Our waiter got into a verbal altercation with another employee and there was lots of yelling and physical threats. Totally inappropriate for a place of work. However, our waiter continued to return to the table calm and composed with a friendly demeanor.

I was told to come to an interview by the manager, after my full time shift/work week on a Friday evening. I even asked the manager was he sure, because I knew it was a Friday. I've never been treated as though I had done something wrong, or that me even having an interview was not incumbent or convenient for their time. Maybe it was because I'm Black, and it was insignificant in their eyes. However, I was totally clear from the very beginning that I have a full time job, and that I was only looking for a weekend opportunity. Very bad communication skills.

Average experience here. I think Brendan needs extra help at the bar since he seemed like he was on his own between some tables and the bar. The bison burger was just average and the side kale salad was underdressed. Since Brendan was so busy I didn’t want to bother him to ask for dressing and all. Next time I need dinner in this part of Durham I’ll probably just go to Guglhupf or the Nordstrom Bistro across the street. I just happened to be in the mood for a bison burger but oh well I’ll just get bison meat at Whole Foods and make it at home myself.

Overall, it was a solid steak restraunt. Most of the food was pretty good. It is a bit more on the higher side. Service was ok, too. Small draft selection and a full bar. They offered a few chicken and seafood selection along with their steak and sandwich selection(beef and bision). Overall, it was a pretty good experience.

An excellent variety of food that should satisfy almost anyone. Everything we had was great. Bison meatloaf, chicken, salmon, cod sandwich, bison brisket... Everything was very tasty! The server was great and was even very accommodating and appropriately served our kids as they sat at their own table separate from the adults. It was a great experience!

It’s difficult to find good simple food in a cosy American atmosphere. Cute decor. Lots of wood and brass accents. The caramelized onions and fresh cut potato fries were really tasty. Service good too.
