I came across this bakery on a hunt for a large fruit tart for a work gathering to celebrate a dear co-worker who was moving on to a new venture. Nora was helpful, kind and able to accommodate my scheduling needs. I ended up ordering two, and they were a hit. Everyone kept asking where I got the tarts and raving about about how delicious they were. They were so popular that I was asked to bring the same fruit tarts for another co-worker's celebration. My team loves these. They have been quickly gobbled up twice! Nora and her staff are welcoming and friendly, and take pride in their creations. The bakery is full of beautiful pastries, breads and aromas. The sourdough baguette and tiramisu are delicious! I will continue to support this bakery and recommend to friends and family.

Yum! We stopped by today for the first time and picked up a few items to try later at home — focaccia (delicious), a lemon bar, and cannoli. All of it was fantastic! My daughter also loved her chocolate chip cookie. The employees were very kind and friendly. We will definitely be back to try more!

Went in at noon and fresh baguettes were coming out of the oven. YUM. Has a decent selection of drinks and I got a chocolate bread for later.

The treats were so tasty. I don't live in Durham, but I do go a few times a year and will be making a stop here everytime.

I ordered a Napoleon cake for my birthday because of the Yelp review and I was so happy I did. The cake was exactly what I wanted. I'm glad they're not closer to Chapel Hill as I would probably be in there at least once a week. I am planning on being back soon. Great job. Thank you guys.

I ordered the avocado toast and it was delicious the bread had the perfect toast crunchiness and the egg was cooked to near perfection with fresh ingredients. Customer service was on point and I did not have a long wait.

We visited based on the great reviews, so I feel obligated to write that our experience did not live up to those. We got the almond croissant and I’ve had better from a box at a grocery store. The blueberry scone was pretty solid. But, if you know good pastries, I think these will likely let you down. Very nice people and I hate to say it, but felt like this one had to be written.

I've been coming to this bakery since it opened with the last owner and have never been disappointed with any of their items. The current owner is always super sweet. Everything has always tasted fresh. My go-tos are the éclairs, almond croissants, macarons and tiramisu.

The owner was delightful. She gave me a quick story of how she came to own the business. I had a strawberry and cream croissant which was delicious.

Beyond The French Corner Bakery is a pure delight from the moment you open the door! The wonderful smells and cheery "Bonjour" greet you right away. Pastries and breads are delicious and authentic. Good choices of coffee and chai. The tables are repurchased sewing machine cabinets. Highly recommend this hidden gem!!

A Charming place to get authentic French desserts and breads. The interior is cutely decorated with the tables being old repurposed sewing machine tables. The owner is almost always on hand. This is a family business owned by locals. There's no better place in Durham to spend your money.Kid-friendliness: The place is a great place for little kids to visit.Wheelchair accessibility: There is handicap parking and easy access.
