I walked into a fun coffee spot that looks like college students probably take up all of the tables regularly. It's cozy and relaxed. I wanted an Iced Mocha, but unfortunately, they were out of chocolate. So I grabbed an amazing Iced Macha with a pump of syrup. Delicious! My mom liked her Eggnog drink, though the fact that it was hot put her off a little. The staff seemed happy to be there and were helpful when my mom didn't know what she wanted. I will be back!

This is a great coffee shop, but they have a problem with homeless people camping out in the store on cold days. Which is nice of them to allow. I get it. But when they’re taking the entire couches, and other seats, some clearly on drugs/not well, you’re not setting up a good customer experience. Their decision to allow do so, but making sure others are informed, as it definitely is a core part of the Oak House experience & not always great
Our group needed a little pick me up caffeine stop before dinner so we headed over to The Oak House in downtown Durham.I ordered a hot maple spice latte to share with hubby. Excellent latte! Great flavor with nice creaminess and just a hint of sweetness. I really enjoyed it especially since it was cold out.I would definitely stop by again if I was in the area!

Some of the best coffee ever. The service was so incredible and the coffee was great. The place was super clean. I would highly recommend going here if you are just walking the streets in Durham and want a mouthful of flavors. 10/10.

Cute little coffee place with a simple menu. Tried the pumpkin spice latte and it was the perfect amount of spice and not too sweet. I also tried the pumpkin pop tart pastry! So good and flaky.
