I recently went Tropical Smoothie and ordered the the Jamaican jerk wrap. My order was being made by an employee who took her phone out of her back pocket and started texting with gloves on, while my food was in the oven. Once my food was finished, she put her phone back in her pocket and removed my food from the oven. She touched all over my food with the same gloves that she was texting on her phone with. When I told the employee who initially took my order that I no longer wanted the food and wanted a refund. He explained told me that he did not know how to give a refund (along with the other two employees, who didn’t know how to give a refund). One of the employees called the manager and explained what was going on and the manager walked the employee through the refund process. When the manager asked why did I want a refund, I explained that one of the employees was in the back texting on her phone and handling my food with the same gloves she was texting with. So, instead of the employee telling the manager what I said…the employee simply said, she just want her money back.

Do not order delivery here.I have both eaten here once and doordashed out of here many many times. Nine times out of 10 when I come here the order is either wrong or missing and ends up being canceled because they won't remake anything, in spite of the fact that they leave all pickups out in the open for anyone to take

This place smells so bad I didn’t even want to eat the food. They messed up my order twice to the point I didn’t care for going back in and get it adjusted again. This is not the first time I have a bad experience here. If you can avoid this location, it would be smart to do so.

The smoothies are so fresh, tasty, and fulfilling ? they will definitely satisfy your craving. There are so many good flavor combinations to choose from. The service is also fairly quick.

The location in Durham on Page rd has roaches and when I called to let them know. The store manager caught an attitude. I would NOT recommend anyone go to this location. It smells funny and again they have roaches.
Everything was fine until we went to check out. The lady checking us out tipped herself by reaching over the counter to hit enter on the card pad. I would've tipped normally, but she put it in herself. Other people came into the place and ordered too, she proceeded to do the exact thing, tipping herself without the customers consent. I'm never coming back to this location again, and I don't recommend anyone else going there either.

I noticed this problem several weeks ago! I decided not to come back for that reason. Today I gave it a try, and damn!!!! This place smell like a big bathroom.It is the same smell, I can’t even breathe.You guys have an issue in this place. Believe me !!!Service is good, they are fast!!! But the bad smell is just too much…..
