The food was just okay, nothing special. The chips were also just okay even though they are made fresh in house. The watermelon margarita was good but overpriced and weak. Would not recommend coming here for the Food, it's more for the nice atmosphere and well decorated inside.

Although on this visit I had to educate one of the new managers on how Uncle Julio's Gold Card holder works. Which is when one arrives with a Gold Card they do not have to wait to be seated. They get to be seated at the next available table. She tried to tell me it did not work like that. I told her it did, and I had a 25.00 credit to my account with an email address to corporate if we need to call to verify what I am telling her is correct. She went and questioned another manager, and she was told I was correct and shortly after that I was seated. I did not take what she told me personally. It was her not understanding how Uncle Julio's loyal program worked. I was able to educate her.I love this Uncle Julio's. My daughter and I was on our dinner date since she was home on spring break from college. We enjoyed our Tacos dinner and everything else that evening.Vegetarian options: Beans, vegetablesParking: it is a shopping center. Plenty of parking.Kid-friendliness: Yes kids loves tacos and chips.Wheelchair accessibility: very much so.

Uncle Julio? More like Uncle Juli-NO! I don’t think they understood the concept of the reservation. Had a reservation for 7pm, they seemed surprised we were there. We then proceeded to wait 30 MINUTES. During that time, the fire alarm went off for a couple of minutes and apparently they continue their reservation policy with emergency responders because the fireman waited so long at the front desk to check out the kitchen that he eventually just left. Maybe they didn’t want him to see the kitchen because of their horribly gross sanitation situation. We were finally given a table and they kindly gave us free guac and queso. Then they brought us water. At least that’s what we were told it was. At first we thought the glass water bottle was speckled because it looked so dirty. Turns out it was just cloudy and filthy and had various pieces of chips and debris floating in it. We told them we were just going to leave and they agreed with our decision. Leaving was the only thing we didn’t have to wait for all evening. Thankfully Chipotle saved the day.

Food was good. We were a party of 12, bigger than they were ready for at lunchtime, so food was a little slow. The tableside guacamole was excellent. As were the fish tacos. One whole side is a bar. I have hearing aids, and it is noisy enough I had a hard time hearing the servers or my friends.Parking: Parking lot can be full at happy hour, per a friend's note.

Very slow service for mediocre food. We wanted something quick and casual, which this place was not, but we didn’t think it would be this slow. It took them 15 mins to serve us just water, and it took 30 mins for 2 appetizers to come. Nachos were just 6 large chips. That was $15. I ordered carbonated water expecting it to be free, but they charged $3.5. Ceviche was okay. Overall, I would not recommend this place.

Me and a couple of friends ordered take out. Upon arrival, we noticed they were preparing to close, although a couple was still eating. The server provided bills and a card reader. We swiped the reader and an error message appeared. I asked was the reader working properly and was told "try it again". My friend and I swiped several times, but received the same error message. We decided to pay with cash. I later checked my bank account and noticed 6 charges. I called the next day and explained the situation to the general manager. She stated she would check the reader and refund my account.

Hate to give two stars, but it was not a great experience. First the water container was not clean on the inside, I guess it’s hard to clean inside that milk jug shaped glass bottle. The jalapeño barbecue marinade shrimp were somewhat lacking—I’m guessing they were made earlier in the day. The mushy rice and dried black beans looked like they had been sitting in a pot since earlier in the day too. I don’t eat these items but knew it could be better. It’s hard for me to tell If this was their standard, until the server brought me a container each to go for my daughter —of what the black beans and rice should be like. It was day and night. Lastly, as I was cutting the other half of my Carne Asada steak to take home and it was very hard to cut through that silver tissue that they did not remove fully off my skirt steak. Our family just ate last week at Uncle Julio‘s in Maryland and it was perfection. So maybe this was just a bad time of the day to go, which is 5 o’clock on a Monday. I should’ve sent all the items back, but I already sent back the onions because they were burnt on the black skillet. As I was leaving I told the manager so she could share with the kitchen staff to make sure they don’t send out food like that. She said “I should’ve come by sooner, but I was interviewing and I’m sorry .” Complimentary dessert would have been a nice gesture. On a very bright note my 1st server was bartending and then my 2nd server was too, I guess second shift? (no one told me of server changes)—they both have excellent customer service skills but unfortunately that’s not worth subpar food, especially when I know how good an Uncle Julio‘s restaurant can be, and paying $50 plus $10 tip, you want you want to fill good about your experience. Again I should have sent it all back. Thank you.

Good food but felt rushed. Had to ask for water a few times.

Food was good, atmosphere was great until the drill started to work on the glass garage doors. So loud we could no longer hear each other. I will not go back. Work like this should only happen before opening or after closed. Terrible

Came here on a Friday night to celebrate a friend’s birthday party. We were sat promptly once our full party arrived and the restaurant looked nice. The first thing I noticed was that when the bussers wiped down the seats, they left them all damp with water so I had to wipe it down before I could sit. After we sat down, it took about 15 minutes for our table to get water. Once we got water we put in drink/appetizer orders. Those orders took about 30 minutes to come out which encompassed a couple cocktails, 2 orders of guacamole, and ceviche. The ceviche was not good. Water pitchers on the table were also only ever filled once and generally remained empty all night. After we finally got our drinks and appetizers our orders were taken. It took about 30 minutes for food to come out. I didn’t have a problem with the time it took the food to arrive due to how large our party was, but it was still long and many things came out cold. My fajitas were half cold and half the table didn’t receive tortillas or beans/rice until 15 minutes after food was served. That night the restaurant was very well staffed with many employees but only 4-5 tables of people.Overall the experience was incredibly poor and cannot recommend coming here. The restaurant is very nice looking with fair atmosphere, but the food and service was subpar. There are vastly superior Mexican places in the area so there would be no reason to choose to come here.

This was always my go to for Mexican food. Not anymore. I ordered the beef crispy tacos. They came to me extremely greasy and not crispy at all. The beef? Let’s just say it didn’t taste like beef. The patrons next to me also returned their food, cause the salmon didn’t take right. They were out of 6 brands of beer, and couldn’t make an old fashioned because they didn’t have bitters. They did have my Cabernet, although it was delivered to me in an obviously filthy glass.I always gave rave reviews in the past to anyone who asked me about the food. It had clearly gone downhill. The food was always fresh and delicious. Sadly, not anymore. Needless to say I will not be returning to this “restaurant”
