I had a disappointing experience at this place. The large poke bowl I ordered lacked balance, with an overwhelming amount of beans and minimal other ingredients. Additionally, the rice was served hot, which negatively impacted the freshness of the fish and made the overall dish unappetizing. Furthermore, the fish wasn't properly cut. On a previous visit, the shrimp in my dish appeared to have been hastily defrosted, resulting in an unpleasant taste. Overall, the quality of the food needs improvement.

Absolutely delicious!!! I loved my meal and didn't want it to end! Everything was so fresh and tasty. I had the 'sweet' tuna nachos, which were excellent, and I've had great bowls here before. The staff were so nice and the vibe was so positive. I can't wait to go back!!

Our Fam’s Go-To for togo when we come to Durham. The kids love the miso and all three want to try my bowls and I end up getting a second one so that I can enjoy it myself. I’ve had the pleasure of meeting the owner as she was helpful with our order when I was solo with the kids one day. I look forward to a trip to ZENfish and this time bringing some of their bottled sauce home :)

Meh. Toppings seemed suspect, I'm not getting seafood that's been sitting there uncovered all day. Very stingy with any topping. Very small is $15+ and normal sized is $18+. Side issues, owner had crying baby sitting on table entire time while she was behind counter so it was a chore to order by yelling over it. She apologized and laughed, but I just got it to go. I can't think ofrtalk with a nonstop baby full volume feet away.
The GM Blake is very friendly and all the staff have always treated us very well. They are very attentive to dietary restrictions, of which we have many, making ZenFish one of the few places in Durham we can eat at safely!

The rice was not cooked all the way through, not enough filling and too much rice in the burrito. Expensive and sloppy. Never again.
Zenfish is one of those places you love to go because not only is the food fresh and flavors amazing but the staff is always so nice and welcoming. I always get a large salad base with krab and shrimp with pickled dikon, carrots, corn and pickled onion. Plus I get a ton of their sriracha sauce on top and it is sooooo dang good!!!

I am an Uber driver and really wish you had some smaller options. I can't finish the 3 protein bowl and can't take leftovers in my car with passengers. Why can't there be a 2 protein choice?? I would say the kid's bowl would be ok, but I definitely get an attitude and barely anything if I try to order that. The 3 protein is $14, with tip and tax, I've just spent $16 on a quick lunch I can't finish. also - just head's up, people can't hear each other over the glass. I've noticed it time and time again, orders are wrong, misunderstood and more definite attitude when we have to repeat. There is sometimes an atmosphere of some employees talking rudely amongst themselves while customers are there.

I am an Uber driver and really wish you had some smaller options. I can't finish the 3 protein bowl and can't take leftovers in my car with passengers. Why can't there be a 2 protein choice??
