“Cute coffee shop, with books & a area to sit and enjoy you coffee inside and outside covered shelter. Friendly, polite and very pleasant environment ?❤️?Love the mocha latte with 3 shots Expresso ‼️”
“Great local restaurant with a wholesome buffet for lunch. The price is fair and the food is consistently good. Have a salad bar and several veggies daily. Meat options change daily.”
“I love to find out of the way places to eat, fast food joints just all suck. My wife and I found this on a trip to attend a wedding. The food was good and the staff were extremely friendly. The other patrons were locals and also very friendly and inviting. If you find yourself in this area you could do much worse than eating here.”
“Great space, wonderful owners, and outstanding Italian food. The red sauce is one of the best I have ever tasted. This is one of North Carolina's hidden gems and well worth the short drive from Winston Salem.”
“The food is amazing if you don't like it you have no taste buds I would it there food all day every day if I could it has old fashioned stuff and the ice cream is good but the milkshake are better than McDonald's so that's why I think you should eat at Alex more often”
“No food on day we visited. This place is popular with moms and their little ones. Nestled in a small back room, they red stories while sitting on the floor.Parking: No problem at all parking.Kid-friendliness: Lots of books on the shelves, and in the small back-room. Very cozy spot.”
“A friend took me here twice now and I love it! Get it to go or stay a while. Great selection of coffee, tea, pastries with an inviting atmosphere. I would choose The Coffee Mill over Starbucks Any day!”
“Most cupcakes have fillings in them! They are really delicious. Cookies are also always soft and gooey! Best sweets shop in Winston-Salem.Vegetarian options: Vegan/GF cupcakes in store. Items can also be special ordered if not readily available.Dietary restrictions: They have separate work stations for peanuts, GF, and any other dietary restrictions, so there are no cross contaminations.”
“Called in an order to go for my wife. It was small, consisting of two side items, but the staff were friendly regardless. In the world of restraunts its not uncommon for folks not buying full meals to be treated inadequately but this was not the case at Trails End. Good food at a low price, this is offically a regular visit for me snd my family.”
“What I enjoyed most about this Incendiary location was the open space for kids to play. They have a long stretch of sidewalk they allow the use of chalk on, a good size sand box, and wide open space for ball games or bubbles. The location itself is nice, the property is well maintained and spacious. There’s a set up for a band in the middle of the yard. They have many tables to sit at outside, but while the metal tables are all able to have coverings not all of the tables had them. There weren’t too many people when we arrived but all of the seats with coverings were occupied. This makes for a harsh time during the hotter times of year if you plan to have your kids there too. Overall, this is a nice place to have a drink, listen to music, and let the kids play.”
“So glad we found this hidden gem in Lewisville. Micro distilleries can be hit or miss but Everything here was phenomenal. The 4yr ONW bourbon was way better than Buffalo Trace and might even give Blanton's a run for it's money. It was super smooth and left no throat burn. The Rye was amazing as well. The vodka is truly flavorless (sign of a good vodka) and would make any martini or tonic shine. You can tell that they take care with their 200 plus year old recipe and hold to the traditions that Nick Williams used when he started this distillery back in the 1700s. The great news is that in North Carolina you can now buy unlimited amounts of liquor from distilleries so we will definitely be back to this place to buy more bourbon and vodka.”
“I have since moved. However when I lived there. Every Friday the whole family went. My girls were young and they loved to eat there. I never had a bad experience at this place. Probably been there 100 times in the 20 years in pfafftown.”
“First time there. Service was excellent. Great place to bring the kids. There is a play set and a few games to play with. We sat outside and were able to relax while the kids played and ran up and down the hill. We had a very enjoyable afternoon at West Bend. Looking forward to going back.”
“GREAT food! So good in fact that we are returning next month for our ladies' fellowship meeting. The young ladies that provided our service were attentive and worked very hard to please. They have a private room that can be reserved for such occasions. It can accommodate between 15 and 20 people.”
“Great Mexican food! Great service and great people! We loved the taco birria dish with rich dipping sauce. I was drinking it and wanting more. Delicious homemade guacamole as well. Definitely going back ??”
“I was pleasantly surprised when I ate lunch here today! I was expecting the typical American grill but what I got was much more. Nicole was a breath of fresh air at the counter to take my order. She greeted me with a smile and helped me decide what to get. In addition to the American burger scene, they have legit Greek food! I savored the chicken souvlaki with fresh made chips and quality brewed sweet tea! I’m coming back and bringing my wife. Highly recommended!”
“Great local pub to hang out. Quiet during the week, but really cool on the weekends. Great service. Does offer some food appetizers. Great spirits selection. Outdoor seating available. Love hanging out here with Freinds. I definitely recommend it.”

“The dinning area was hopping so I went to the empty bar section. I made my to go order, drank my martini, and waited. The bartender was spirited and fun; made me feel right at home. Within 15 minutes of me sitting down, the bar went from empty to full; which is exactly the time I needed to drink up and get my food. Soon as I left my seat it was taken. It's a middle-aged crowd, 50's & 60's, some 40's. Very lively. I got home and the the fish risotto was incredible OMG!!!”
“The cake looked and tasted amazing!! Will be buying from her again!! Very moist!! I got two flavors the white chocolate raseberry on top and white almond on the bottom!! Veryy good!!”
“Very clean restaurant and very good food! Our food was hot and tasted fresh and good. Would definitely come back again if we're ever in the area.Parking: It's a strip mall, there is plenty of free parking.”
“I went to Full Moon Oyster Bar for dinner and was pleasantly surprised to find no wait! I ordered the crab dip, calamari, a dozen steamed oysters, shrimp, and crab cake. The crab dip was delicious and came with fresh bread. The oysters were incredibly fresh and tasty. I could share one pound of shrimp with someone and still had leftovers to take home. Calamari had a nice crunchy texture, and it also had a sweet spicy sauce. Overall, I highly recommend Full Moon Oyster Bar for their seafood and drinks. The pina colada was pretty tasty, too. The restaurant is nicely decorated, and in recent years, they added a waiting area with a bar.”
“Ok, full disclosure.... I'm not a fan of diners, I know it's so very Un American of me! I expected to leave WestTown disappointed and underwhelmed but I was pleasantly surprised on this trip. I got the Greek omelet with bacon and it was flavorful and stuffed full of tomatoes, spinach and feta. The home fries were crispy and seasoned nicely too. My friend ordered the two egg breakfast that comes with a third egg free if requested. She's southern by birth and gave the accompanying biscuit and sausage gravy a thumbs up. The mimosa flight was disappointing as it tasted more like juice than a bubbly mimosa. But at $10, it shouldn't surprise anyone that it isn't heavy on the alcohol. I would suggest bumping up the price and balancing out the ratio. All in all, I typically avoid diners that have such extensive menus but for a solid breakfast at a great price, I will visit WestTown again. On a fun note, they've recently added a soup flight after a social media post on a "Winston Eats FB Page" requested that such a thing should exist. So far, great reviews on that so maybe I'll try that next time too! Service was fast and friendly ....ambiance is what you would expect. ...Nice family run, casual spot! New ownership so if you've tried them in the past, might be worth another try..... but you really need to be a diner person too”
“Bottom line: Mario's Pizza turned out some good pizza slices to take home and enjoy. Only cheese and pepperoni slices were available with no other toppings for take out slices that night and a longer than expected wait during a holiday week paid off though in the end, enjoyable thin slice NY style pizza. The Deets: Over the holiday season, of course there was that one night that the mood for cooking had long since passed and we wanted something simple and low key...pizza, right? Word was from my family that Mario's Pizza was the local business to hit for some good pizza so we committed to going here. Deciding on cheese pizza slices and a slice of pepperoni to pick up (as they were not doing any other slice types for the evening we were told, maybe volume or staffing?), we phoned in our order and drove off in the soaking rain to pick it up. We had one person that wanted "everything" on one of the slices so there was a bit of compromise. My guess about order volume may be true as when I arrived and paid for the order, I was then informed that it would be at least another 15 minutes. I was not alone in waiting for orders as the time went on, more came in and waited on orders, so these guys were busy and popular but not too many people were actually sitting in the restaurant eating (they have a good sized seating area)...the take out volume of business was probably a good sign about how good they are, hopefully. That hope paid off...their New York style pizza was pretty tasty. Their pizza had thin crust which I like, as well as fairly good slice size. I'd say for a pretty solid pizza choice in the Clemmons/Lewisville area, I would definitely visit Mario's Pizza again in the future. I normally would say more 3-3.5 stars for the lack of toppings available on slices and the pretty long wait even after a good drive over but I have to give them the benefit of the doubt since it was a holiday week and say go with 4 stars as they got the job done, the pizza was good, and the staff was nice when waiting/picking up the meal.”
“Great little dive restaurant in Yadkinville, NC. Serves a nice little variety of meals, with daily specials. Food is like typical southern, American diner style. Breakfast/burgers and a few specialty items. Price is very affordable and the atmosphere is quaint. It reminded me of a cross between Cracker Barrel and a convenience store. (Small and comfortable.) Out in the middle of nowhere, but will definitely visit again!”
“I just tried Riverside for the first time and their pizza is GREAT!Regarding Cranky Cowboys review, while I respect your right to free speech, I would ask you to consider that you are the only one with a negative experience at Riverside pizza. Me and my neighbors have only had wonderful experiences with Riverside. Contrary to your review we have found the staff to be the complete opposite of your experience. We have very few dining options in East Bend and Riverside haa been a Godsend. Not only is the staff friendly and outgoing but the menu is diverse and the food quality outstanding. Again Cranky Cowboy your opinion matters but I respectfully disagree with your stated opinion as do dozens of our local residents that have had nothing but excellent experiences while dining at Riverside pizza.”
“This is one of the very few remaining Mexican spots in the Triad that I had not visited, so today I checked this box. I was interested in 2 items on the menu - Pepino($2.99) and Birria de Res ($13.99). The interior is very brightly appointed, providing a festive feeling. And the Thursday drink special was a 16 ounce draft for $2.99, so I went with that. My beer and the complementary chips and salsa arrived momentarily. This is good salsa, with a bit more heat than most. The Pepino was soon on the table, as well. This is a very, very simple dish that I first had at a Mexico City central market in the late '70s. It consists of peeled, chilled cucumber slices, to which you add salt, chile flakes, and fresh lime juice, to suit your tastes . It is a very refreshing way to begin a meal in a warm day! The was as perfect start to my first meal here. The Birria de Res is simply the stew from which Birria Tacos gains their filling, and the liquid, or consommé, is part of this dish! The meat, in this instance beef, is marinated, then slow cooked in a red chile broth until falling apart tender. This dish was perfect - huge portion of very tender, very flavorful shredded beef which you top with chopped cilantro and white onion - and I like to add lime juice and Mexican hot sauce - and occasionally I will get side orders of sliced jalapeños and/or grilled onions. It comes with your choice of tortillas so you can build your own Birria tacos if you so choose. This was a very nice first experience here, the service was first class, and I was given a small complementary dessert - kinda cool I thought! This place is exactly why I rarely pass up a restaurant that maybe doesn't have the acclaim of others, or isn't authentic enough for some - you will find a gem that makes the occasional stinker a risk worth taking, maybe only a single dish or two - which I will continue to do. Ambiance - 4 Food - 4.5 Service 4.5 Value - 4.5”
“I ordered the edible rectangles to make cookies. The men I spoke with answered all my questions before I placed the order and even made suggestions. I will purchase more from Ink 4 Cakes. See photo of my cookies. Thank you, Ink 4 Cakes!”
“Being from Wisconsin, and down in the area for work, I found this place for a good local place to grab a late lunch. Definitely awesome! I got the Chopped Chicken sandwich with BBQ slaw and a side of onion rings. Onion rings were just like I would get from a good bar back home, and sandwich was definitely awesome too!Parking: Plenty of parking”
“This was our first visit to Divine Llama Vineyards and it wont be our last. The staff was great in helping us select or wines along with making some suggestions for us to try. In the summer, we were told they have 3 bars open. The setting was laid back, relaxing and beautiful. They offer a nice Sharkoutary board along with a food truck that changes regularly I overheard. You have a great view of Pilot Mountain in the background.”
