I have supported the new location since they opened.Yesterday 2/10/24 I bought two dinner plates of burnt ends. One for myself and one for an elderly couple who share a plate. I spent $27.80 on my plate that included an Ice tea.These plates were terrible. The meat is dry and the taste was not palatable. The sides were okay but the meat it's self wasn't good. I usually don't complain but we paid over $50.00 for two plates and I feel we are due a refund. I don't know what happened but I've be a customer for a long time and these are expensive. Disappointing to say the least.

I returned on a Tuesday to take advantage of the 2$ deal. I went with some buddies of mine as they had been talking about the special and let's just say it didn't get any better. The buns were soggy and the meat was flavorless. To get it down I had to drench it in BBQ which made it edible. I guess this spot just isn't it because I have been to their other location and it was pretty good. Save your money, drive to somewhere else, or make it yourself because this is not bbq.

Very good food. With several options of sauces that can be added to your meat there is a flavor profile to please most people's palates.Meals are reasonably priced. My husband and I stopped in for lunch & each enjoyed a combo meal for under $20.
With high hopes and good word from others I was excited to try this bbq joint in Elizabeth City. It was clean and very cold inside, so that was nice. I got my food (overpriced) and the sweet potatoes casserole was insanely sweet, Mac and chess was ok, great green beans and then the bbq, awful. The bun was soggy, flavorless and the only way I could get it down was with the bbq sauce given. Not again

Marginal at best . Placed a pick up order and was told it would be ready in 20 minutes. Showed up 20 minutes later and had to wait an addition 15 minutes. Pork was bland - appeared to cook in a slow cooker vs smoked. Sides were very small in portion.
