Quiet atmosphere. Clean and the booths are comfortable. The bean dip is fantastic and the steak burrito was delicious! (The Mexican Coke is a 500ml bottle so it's perfect for sharing!) Our waitress was fast and friendly.

Ordered the taco salad with chicken, and the chicken was flavored amazing!!! One of the best taco salads I’ve had! The shell ways perfectly crisp and everything combined for an adventure of flavor for my palette!!!! Highly recommend!

This place has changed over the years just as any other place has. Started out amazing big portions and all then slacked off over time but face it ppl all places have this happen to then. But now there new man running made it banging once again . Love the place best in town. Great service food is spot on and if you truly want find out go yourself. This place is a keeper and for the ppl saying not going anymore sorry to hear that your missing out. But lucky for myself and others that love this place means won't wait to get seated. Small family owned restaurant that we stumbled upon because of a road closure! The wait staff was wonderful, and the owner/manager checked to make sure everything was good. It was! We had shredded beef burritos with beans (doubled to replace rice). Seasoning was perfect! My husband had a top shelf margarita and thought it was very good. So happy we found this place in Elizabeth City! We will be repeat customers - often!

I really appreciate Mexican American cuisine. This spot hit the spot. Chips and Salsa were above average. My only complaint was the side of rice being too dry. Overall was an amazing experience. The jalapeño poppers stole the spotlight of the meal. Heaven on earth.
