My wrestling team ate here after the river city invitational. The customer service was great and the food looked amazing, especially the Birria tacos, the chips and salsa were just what you would expect from a Mexican restaurant. However I was cutting weight, so I didn’t order anything. I think the waitress thought I didn’t have any money, so she brought an order of birria tacos saying they made them by mistake; which I regrettably and sadly declined. I wish I had left a tip, but she was actually right, I didn’t have my wallet ?.

It took almost 30 min to get takeout order. People coming in after me were getting their orders. Staff kept giving me excuses or ignoring me.Severely understaffed. This was the best Plaza Azteca. Service was super, the food was fresh, hot and delivered all at the same time, despite having a large party. Our server never let our glasses get empty. Highly recommend!

The chicken fajita plate came sizzling hot and was delicious. So much food I could have shared it with two other people. My son loved it and was excited by the atmosphere. One complaint is their hot sauce sucked and wasn't even spicy and the stuffed jalapenos we got as an appetizer had nothing inside of them. What a let down.
