Best Sushi around! I always overeat because I can't decide what rolls are the best! Fantastic!Dietary restrictions: I am a pescatarian and I usually go for the Sushi. My other family members love Hibachi and/or Teriyaki (all of it - steak, chicken, etc.).

sushi was flavorless and chicken very bland. Service was good but food not so much. We will not be coming back

We were very happy to find this gem of a Japanese restaurant in the heart of Elizabeth City! The servers were friendly & welcoming, the ambiance was pleasing, & the sushi rolls, the sashimi & everything else we ordered was fantastic! Highly recommended!

Phenomenal udon noodle with chicken and veggies I just had. This is a great flavor and fair value too!

This is the best, most consistent, highest quality restaurant around. The sushi is excellent. Our family has been going here for many years. We love the food especially, and their friendly staff.

A Chinese knock off with poor quality dried up ingredients; sushi, nori and rice. 美味しくない. I wouldn't support this kinda scam and wish I knew it was that bad. Not local and was looking for something authentic. The "wasabi" looks like green playdough and I'm scared to eat it. The ginger is dries up, too. EVERYTHING is a knockoff & not good at all. I spent $20 and would've been better served eating somewhere else. Oh, well, live and learn.

Our family visits the Outer Banks every summer, and each year one of the highlights is eating at Toyama. This is some of the best sushi I've ever eaten. Definitely worth the drive if you love sushi and are visiting OBX.

Our visit on Sunday was our first visit. I've always heard good things about this place and I have to say it exceeded my expectations. It was very delicious and I would believe that we would be back.

We loved this place. The food was great and the service was good. It is a small space, but they fit our group of 6 in. The only sushi we had this time was California roll, and it was tasty. We all ordered hibachi dinners and everyone really enjoyed their meal. We will go back and try the sushi for sure. Can’t wait to eat here again.Kid-friendliness: My kids loved the California roll, the shrimp tempura, and the hibachi shrimp.
