I was gifted some food from here and it was delicious! I got to try the pulled pork bbq, hush puppies, collards, coleslaw, candied yams (so good), baked beans, and the banana pudding. It was all such a treat and all so enjoyable to eat! The portion of bbq is huge for the bbq plate, it could surely make a couple of meals. Solid bbq place with greats sides.

The ugliest cashier at work today she is rude sounds like she just woke up it’s 2:30 on 3/13. She working drive through lips dry probably grew up on grove street no type of grace or elegance straight out the projects.. keep in mind when yaw are hiring we want pleasant interactions and awesome customer service I don’t even want my food from this establishment if all you all can find is crackheads..

There was a slump in quality for a while, but, they are back to cooking good food. Glad they are doing better!
Went thru the drive thru ordered wing snack. French Fries were limp and not crisp. Leftover already cooked fries. For $10.00 everything that you order should be fresh and hot. Not leftovers from the heat lamp. I know the business. Was a food service worker. You need experienced people who will put love into the food they are serving their customers. Not these children today that could give a good flip if it's cold or hot. I don't like wasting my money for non-quality food.

Mac and cheese is the processed frozen type. Collards tasted like they came out of a can. Fried Chicken was really good. BBQ was ok. They were out of desert. Service was good.

This was my first-time ordering from Cape Fear Bar-B-Que & Chicken. We just moved to the area and wanted to try it. They were extremely patient and accommodating with my question in the drive-through. The lady at the window was so nice and I believe that the owner even came over to chat. I couldn't believe the kindness and hospitality that they showed. The food was just wonderful too! I had the pork sandwich, and my son and husband had the wings and pulled pork plate. All were delicious! I can definitely see us going back on a regular basis. And they were very quick! No long wait at the drive-through. You can't say that for most places. They defiantly impressed me, and I have 23 years' experience in the restaurant business, so I am a little on the picky side.
